He was so immersed and absorbed in thinking of her that he forgot to eat, work and be his usual self anymore. Ahem is so so in love with Gopi that he is not able to concentrate on work or anything. He's not able to calm himself with the thought that she's not around him today. And he wants to be left alone sulking in this thought and don't want to be disturbed. He is not even shy to hide his feelings, rather I would say that he's not able to hide his feelings...like he's not able to control his temper, he's not able to control his love. Love has overpowered every core of his existence and is emanating from his heart uncontrollably.
He's a man of extremes...he gets angry in a second and gets cooled down in a split second too. And when such a man falls in love, the partner is the luckiest person i guess. For now he wants only and only Gopi to be around him...for what nearness could not do, this few hours of separation has done. He's chanting Gopi's name in his heart and mind and in words that he hasn't done while she was there. Gopi's like a candlelight for him, which lights everything for him though she keeps herself aloof and unserved and burning herself for his sake!...but today that light had been snatched and he's left in darkness and he's left sulking and sulking. But he moment he heard her voice, he got excited and happy again after venting his anger and frustration at his desperate desire to be with her initially. He's used to getting unquestioned attention from her and when he didn't get anything of it today, he felt himself as lonely as ever. Will he able to sleep tonight??? for today is one day his work for the day is still incomplete! and that's seeing her calm face before he loses himself to sleep...
But when will that day come when he'll hold the light of his life with utmost care? When he'll protect her from the winds and harsh ways of the world? When will he become the shade under which her light glows endlessly? Will he able to see her heart made of gold and see that all she thinks is of him and him only?
