Are HITMAKERS capable of giving MEMORABLE acting?!

😉😆 Now, let's just think of something interesting for a second. Most of you enjoy the hitmakers like Salman, Kat, Kareena, etc. They are capable of giving numerous hit movies, but are they going to demonstrate any memorable acting in their upcoming films? When I think of Bodyguard, RA1, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, etc., sure they were all big hits. But, do I remember anything memorable about their acting?! HELL NO! I am sure Kareena will give good memorable acting in her upcoming films like Talaash and Heroine. But, can't say the same thing for Kat and Salman. But, were they ever capable of giving MEMORABLE acting ANYWAY?!

They were capable [Salman & Shahrukh] at one time not anymore.

Not all hits these days are memorable for "acting." But all hits are usually memorable, i think.
Okay, let me be a theatre geek and try to explain...Lol...

To me, there is a difference in memorable acting and just memorable hits where acting isn't a big part.
For example, let's talk about the man with the recent hits, Salman. Majority of the people will remember how he was in the films, right? As in, the way he walked, the way he had his sunglasses on his shirt, etc. That's all part of character building...not necessarily all acting.
Now lets talk about Ms. Vidya...people will remember her role in The Dirty Picture for not just the character building...the whip, the way she moved her chest etc. She will also be remembered for her powerful performance in the movie. I see a difference in these two things.

So, no. All hits aren't memorable "acting." But all hits are memorable.

I don't know it this makes sense...it does to me. Its kind of hard to explain. 😆
