i dont like this character.. he is such a jerk.. that is no way to talk to ur wife..

As much as I agree with most of your post, there are some points I'd like to disagree on.

Lying is not always bad... But, always lying is bad. It's about trust I guess. Someone who lies about everything holds a very less chance to be believed when they're actually being truthful. Same in Lovely's case, she has lied so much that it's hard for not just Karthik but anyone to believe her.

Karthik has appreciated her efforts when she was genuinely making them. He gave her gifts and appreciated her - remember? However, time and time again he has asked for her to stop lying, instead of alway saying yes Lovely could ask him to help her and bear with her as she will stop slowly.

What she did for Rhea and Nimmi was very good, agreed. But did she for once think what if they confront each other? They're not going to appreciate her, and that is the truth.

I feel what people seem to be missing is that Lovely doesn't have any bad intentions, agreed. But you don't have to lie so much so that whatever comes out of your mouth is taken to be just another lie. Lovely saw how Maasa reacted to her bringing the dog but she still went and brought it in. In all honesty did she really think no one was going to find out? Especially since its an alive, running around little animal? Why take such a big risk?

It is true to a certain extent what Maasa says, Lovely always does what she wants without thinking of anyone else or the consequences. If Lovely is not willing to take everyones feelings in consideration then how can she expect others to take her feelings into consideration?

I don't blame only Karthik... Well, yea the CVs have made his character a little too unstable.. but lovely needs to stop lieing ALL the time!

and he NEVER appreciates her efforts to right her wrongs.. i agree that lying is not good..

but it is not the act of lying that you look at .. but the motive behind the lie..

i think there was NOTHING wrong in the WHITE lie she told nimi and ria to clear the air..

if there was a robber running after a person.. that person's life is in danger - they run past you.. you see them running in a certain direction.. and then a couple minutes lter.. u see the robber running up.. they inquire which way the person ran..

do you speak the truth and risk their life or lie and save them?

lying is not ALWAYS bad when the MOTIVE is right.. the show needs to know that it is IMPOSSIBLE to be TRUTHFUL all the time;

why cant karthik appreciate lovely coming forward about the dog situation.. why give that nasty look and walk away? he is not being a good husband at all.. he has thrown his wife to the wolves and there is no support.. i am annoyed.. so annoyed..

on a side note..

gehna does all sorts of things which are lies to mess up lovely

ria and adi have lied about their marriage and this baby..

so why is lovely the only one who is being treated this way?

i seee that most of you do not agree with me.. and i think you guys are misunderstanding me to saying that i agree with ALL her lies.. I DONT.. i agree that she is lying WAY MORE than is necessary and what is considered a white lie..

If i were lovely, i'd just leave Karthik. Whatever it is, he should stand by Lovely's side. He can be pissed at her, but for pete's sake, he still should stand by her side! Karthik wants Lovely to stop lying. Well, Lovely wants him to be by her side. Give her his support. He's never done that except when he was isolated from his family members. So tit for tat.

By the way, i thought they were all A**SES for dissing nimmi and her punjabi food. Nimmi should have given them all one punjabi thapar! That would never do in my house! The person may have elected to cook chinese or malay food the entire day. SO? What's the difference by the way between Punjabi food and rajasthani food?!
