Amitabh Bachchan's mother, Teji Bachchan, was admitted to Lilavati hospital on Friday afternoon.
She was brought in by her superstar son and his wife Jaya Bachchan. Lilavati's spokesperson Vaishali Rajpara confirmed the news, saying, "Mrs Teji Bachchan has been admitted for a routine checkup." But she refused to divulge any more details. "We cannot say anything more at this point," she insisted.
