London: Former Spice girl Victoria Beckham has managed to become the envy of all anorexics with her frail frame.
The star, who is a mother of three, has been eagerly showing off her tiny frame in a selection of tiny shorts and skin-tight T-shirts while out with the rest of the wives and girlfriends of the England team in Germany.
Now, fears have been raised over Victoria Beckham's skeletal frame, after it emerged she is cited as a 'thinspiration' on pro-anorexia websites, reports 'The Daily Mail'.
The 31-year-old star, who admitted she had an eating disorder while she was a member of the band Spice Girls is also cited by many anorexics as the celebrity they would most like to look like.
'Beautiful children, beautiful husband and she, herself, is about perfect. I wonder if there is a published Victoria Beckham "diet" out there,' said one recent posting on a pro-anorexia website.
Another said: 'I envy her thin legs and chest. She has beautiful bones sticking out of her chest.'
While on a third website, as anorexics discussed whether she was the 'best thinspiration', her fans wrote: 'Posh is a major hottie! I love her arms!', 'If I could look like her I would never had a problem with anything!' and 'I think she's beautiful! I wish I looked like her!'
Marjorie Wallace, chief executive of the mental health charity SANE, which did a recent report into the pro-anorexia websites said: 'There is an element of the worship of the thin and that is where bringing celebrities into it can be so dangerous.
'These websites integrate pictures of beautiful celebrities with other pictures showing ravaged sufferers of eating disorders and it reinforces the belief that it is an achievement to be thin.'
But it is not only on websites that Victoria Beckham is cited as an inspiration.
Dr Dee Dawson of the Rhodes Farm clinic in London, which specialises in eating disorders, said: 'Victoria Beckham is usually the celebrity most people that I see want to look like.
'She is horribly thin - you can see all her ribs - and she is not normal. People with eating disorders look at her and models like Kate Moss and think they are the proper weight to be and I have to tell them that she is not.
'Just by looking at her you can see all her muscles have been eaten away.
'I tell people that they should take inspiration from celebrities like Catherine Zeta Jones or Coleen McLoughlin. They both look beautiful without having stick-insect catwalk bodies.'
