Kesar brooding over the catastrophic series of recent events, his role in leading to them, and the consequences that mull over. But most importantly - trying, in frustrating vain to fathom his own heart. Or more like come to terms with its only truth. MB walking in on the scene - playing a father's role better than no one ever, advising, admonishing, showing him the light, and also showing him the restrains to be borne in mind. Kesar partially knocked to reality - but resorts to who other than Sikka Singh to answer his greatest dilemma of all times - to be, or not to be...!

PB informing him the morning after of one among the many grave repercussions of his thoughtless actions (more so Gulaal's decision years ago) coming true. The Panchayat beckoned for breaking the DV.

your drug is a heartbreaker... my love is a lifetaker - lyrics from Weezer's song Say It Isn't which IMO fit this GK scene and situation perfectly. The tadap tadap ke sequence after which Kesar - utterly lost and chaotic with the only anchor in his life, Gulaal. The haunting howl of Kesar screaming her name has only one other parallel on this show - when Gulaal let's loose her pent up burden after the whole Dushyant is confronted showdown - there is something very common and equally powerful about both these instances to me.

Kesar reaches her house - willing to put any stakes to have her back at home. Gulaal of course is who she is for a reason. Unrelenting, and disgustingly violated by this side of "her" Kesu.

Gulaal in a trance - caught unaware before she knows what hit her - by the sight of Kesar drumming away the dhol at Kulli engagement. Something so surreal in this moment - the whole GV flashback, but so much more importantly, Gulaal's snapping back to reality, and then accepting it. Just like that in a moment, she has crossed the line of resistance, without knowing, or intending. And the moment eludes her a while after, whether she unknowingly oversees it, or ignores it per compulsion - so it's really evanescent at this point... but well - it's like a glimpse into the Camelot, really!

Iss scene main battisi kaha hai? Agar hogi bhi to muje kaha dikhi…I was too busy ogling at him whose eyes had all the tenderness in the world for someone he was holding in his arms….sigh😍

Okay my quick chipping in to this detailed Talli-spam

I'm partly in agreement with Aditi. Like yes, Talli was the most speck in the eye kind of annoying presence in perpetually all (or most) of the beautiful GK moments - but much before all this KT matter blew out of proportion, there had been a too-wise-for-her-own-good woman called Galool, who'd been responsible for the inception of the seed called KT.

If we look at things from another perspective, Gulaal could have - for all her well meant intentions - spent the rest of life unable to forgive herself for what her lofty promise had brought upon so many people she loved. Kesar could have truly married Talli and ruined it for the trio of them; or Talli could have become a grey character; or there could have been no Kunal to save Talli's day and she could have ended up being a lonely sad soul all for Gulaal's promise - so but for the fact that everyone got their happy end, Gulaal had paved the way for mega series of disasters a whole decade ago.

However - where I agree with the whole bunch of you is what a sore pain Talli's omnious presence is. It's like she's got sensors to invade on every GK moment to be cherished. I shall never get over

A) the time her pinky presence popped into the GK reconciliation scene after Gulaal finally found her brains and GK became friends for good.

B) The time GK were leaving the house and Talli insisted she be taken along *major headdesk and facepalm*

C) THE MOST UNFORGIVABLE - the amount of precious space Kulli and Sasuma drama took away from us GK deprived souls when we knew we had to hold onto the stingy amounts we were getting in those last days.

The CVs had some mysterious soft corner for Talli/Hally, and that sort of ruined more than the whole G-K-T triangle otherwise would have managed all by itself.

Anyway - turns out my quick take wasn't so quick, much less brief 😆
