PC Tells Truth About Affair Rumors

Priyanka Chopra has finally opened up about the rumors that she's been carrying on an affair with Shahrukh Khan, and it shouldn't be much of a surprise to anyone that all the talk of her seducing a married father has left her hurt and angry.

In an interview that first appeared in the Times of India, Priyanka discusses her blooming music career, sounding very much like a little kid at Christmas when it comes to how excited she is to record her own music.

But of course the juciest bits of the interview are when the questioner finally gets around to asking her about Shahrukh Khan. Priyanka sounds very, very sincere when she says of the stories linking her to SRK: "They make me angry and upset me a lot."

Priyanka goes on to state that though the affair rumors so far haven't changed her relationship with Shahrukh, she's afraid that they soon may. She may be right: already Shahrukh's wife, Gauri, is working to freeze Priyanka out of the film industry's busy social scene; and if the affair rumors persist, it likely won't be long before Gauri Khan demands that her husband cease working with Priyanka. Twinkle Khanna demanded the same of her husband, Akshay Kumar, when she felt that he was getting a bit too steamy with Priyanka Chopra after the filming of Aitraaz.

Priyanka also came as close as she ever has to denying that she's having an affair with Shahrukh. "I've always stood up for whatever I do and bear the consequences for it. But when it's not my doing, it makes me angry."

"When it's not of my doing." That sounds very much like Priyanka is claiming that she's done nothing wrong. Reading her interview, it's hard to assume otherwise. Though it's true that she and Shahrukh Khan have a very close relationship, that hardly means that they're in a relationship with each other.

The media backlash against Priyanka has been sharp and swift. Shahrukh is painted as the wholesome family man who was lured away by the seductive actress (a narrative which SRK's fans have had a huge hand in perpetuating). Priyanka seems genuinely grieved about how the rumors might affect her relationship with Shahrukh, but says that so far he has been a good friend despite the media spotlight.

"He's always been kind. I don't think we've changed that much. I'm grateful for that."

Babies Piggy , do clarify in next interview, why the Oh i love him and over acting wiht him in invt and in public ? to promote ur movies? then why no such dramas with other actors who dont have such huge name ?

SRK should NOT come to America to promote Ra.One only ONCE and that time when he's coming to LA and finding time to spend YOU----and with as little fanfare and publicity as possible after he's trumpeted every-other-promotional visit to the stars!!! But the one where he'll be able to meet you away from the constant glare of Indian press??? About THAT visit---he's practically stone silent.

Maybe you should make "friends" your own age and just a couple---oh just one or two---tiny ones---(and NO, sorry princess, not SRK's sister) of your own GENDER.

The younger woman/older man trope is NOTORIOUS and as long as women are only considered to be love and admiration worthy as long as they are YOUNG and can LOOK YOUNG (but who am I telling this to, it's obvious you KNOW it very well else why is your face filled to the point of immitating a 12 year old? 😊) So tell me, oh mystical PC, why isn's say...Ranbir Kapoor "best freinds" with Sridevi????

Yeah, so OK----DON'T be literally as well as figuratively in that man's pocket co-hosting every show, and with him and at every party.

If it's not YOUR doing then believe me, dude is setting you up for destruction and I don't blame Gauri for one second just because you and Shahrukh "make a hot pair" as the more shallow among us like to say.

Maybe you should ask Aryan how "hot" a pair you make and don't bank on the west (in particular America) being your hope.

You may very well get the chance to pose half clad or snag the odd bit part in Big Bang Theory but the clock is ticking down and what looks like stellar acting talent in a Bollywood pool where the high point of most of the womens' curriculum vitaes consist of either a pageant crown or their father's name as the ONLY reason they are even IN the business won't take you far where the choices are people like Kirsten Dunst, Christina Ricci, or Natalie Portman.

The fact that these girls' facial features aren't odes to paranoia and desperation to be a sex symbol will also make them more palatable to a society where the socielly approved "perfect motivation" for women isn 't to hook the richest man while they can parlay a youthful piece of ass into riches but to actually develop themSELVES and do something with legs closed---unless it's gymnastics or ballet, niether of which requires multiple facial reconstructions to be proficient in the art.

So you just giggle and pretend duck your head with gentle shyness all you want when Shahrukh's name is mentioned just remember not everyone is a flattery addicted middle aged man nor a credulous hero worshipping young teen ("oooh she deserves him she's so prettty!!!!")

Some of us don't even buy what your apologists and wannabe procurers say ("It's not HER fault. He's madly in love with her!") We know you encouraged it with an engraved invitation every chance you got, and if it's really not true, then don't make it look true.

Host something with Ranbir for a change---when you can drag him away from his "best friend" Sridevi 🤣
