They've become a joke now. Don't mean anything anymore.

Just last year there were 4 Blockbusters in Bodyguard, Ready, Singham and The Dirty Picture.

In comparison in the 90's there were 8 Blockbusters HAHK, DDLJ, KKHH, Raja Hindustani,Aakhen,Beta, Border and Karan Arjun.

Between 2000-2005 there were 4 Blockbusters. Gadar, KKKG and Koi Mil Gaya and Kaho Na Pyaar Hai.

From 2005-2010 there's been 10. And its only going to get easier.

High ticket prices combined with a gazillion shows a day. The content doesn't matter anymore. Huge publicity creates big hype. Money is made in the first week.
