I totally agree with you jprasad. I like Salman because in other respects he has seemed very down to earth and sweet. But I cant look away or ignore the fact that he killed someone.
I think many people only see the hot actor and are willing to forgive his wrongs. If it was your own family member that a drunk Salman had killed, you wouldn't be so quick to forgive.
If a regular ordinary person were just as drunk as Salman and ran into your mom walking on the street- would you forgive them? Would you want them walking on the street let alone still having people be that person's friend?
NO, NO, NO!! There is no other thing you could want and don't deny that. Anyone in the world would feel this way.
So why is that when it comes to Salman, the story is different?
i dont think you can do anything jprasad to change people's minds. They are too stuck on fame and beauty and forgive anyone they like. Thats why Sanjay Dutt is still adored and so is Madhuri Dixit even after they had an affair while Sanjay's wife was in the hosital suffering from cancer. How disgusting. I don't know how anyone can like those two after that. Definitely admire their acting talents if you want, but to idolize those people- its beyond me why you would.
I don't want anyone to take offense, I am just sharing my opinion, and you may share yours.

I never said that it was OKAY that he was DUI. The fact that he wasn't in the right state of mind to make a rational decision still doesn't make it okay. I was arguing against your statement about "he was fully aware..." because he wasn't. Not just him, most drunks.
