Part 9: Before she could understand she saw him dragging her towards his car nd before she could say anything he shoves her inside d car get himself seated at the driver's seat.
Maan: where's Ur home?
Geet: you don't have to bother for me Maan Sir. I can go by my own.
"Firstly never ever dare to avoid my question nd secondly I m not doing it for u. I m doing it because if u'll not reach home safely den tomorrow u'll get an excuse to escape from Ur work nd moreover I dnt want anyone pointing fingers towards d security system of KC towards female employees. So now stop arguing nd tell me where's urhome" he spat it out while looking angrily at her nd Geet decides to not to argue further seeing d situation.
Geet: I live at Pinky's place. It's at xyz road.
"Hhmmm" he said nd den drove towards d place told by her.

Whole Drive was silent nd none spoke to each other except stealing occasional glances of each other. Geet really don't understand dis Man. Dis Man is nothing more den an enigma for her. God knows wen nd what goes in his mind. Since the tym she had met him he had done nothing but to yell at her unnecessarily. Be it dere first meet or at Mandir or today at office but now he saved her from dose rowdy boys.
If he want he can just shrug it off nd move to his respective way but he did came dere to save her nd nw he's dropping her home. But he said that he's doing dis for himself as he don't want anyone to point finger on KC's security but y did she felt dat he was concerned for her more den d security of his company. Den she shrugged off that thought. Why would he be concerned for her? She doubts that if he had ever been concerned for anyone. Because as far as he had seen him, he had only been concern for himself only. Nd he was only dropping her because she was dere in the office so late due to him nd he don't want anyone to point finger on him if anything happens to her. Yes dis is the only reason.
Her trail of thoughts has been broken wen Maan stops the car in front of her home. She looked at him before getting down but he was looking straight so she just gets down from the car quietly. She headed towards her home wen she suddenly stops in her tracks
"Whatever the reason behind of him saving me nd dropping me home but atleast I should say thank you to him. I m not like him who just think about himself. I should say thank u to him" she thought nd turned towards his direction but before she can say anything she find him Driving off. She sighed seeing his attitude nd headed inside her home.

As soon as she reached inside she found Pinky pacing restlessly in the hall. As soon as her gaze falls on Geet she quickly goes near her nd bombarded her wid loads of question
"Geet where were u till nw? U knw hw much worried I was? I called at office nd came to know dat u had already left from dere? I called at Ur cell phone too but it was coming switched off? I swear if u wouldn't have come in 5 mins. Den I'll lodge a missing complaint at police" she said it all in one breath nd Geet could sense the panic in her voice
"Pinky Relax first of all nd pls take a breath. First of all I am absolutely fine. I was late because I didn't got cab to return home nd my cell phone has switched off because the Battery of my phone is dead." She answered purposely hiding the goons part as she knows hw much worried her best friend will get
"Den hw had u came back home if u didn't find any cab" Pinky asked confusingly
"Wo Maan Sir has dropped me. Actually……." She said only to be interrupted by Pinky
"What DD had dropped u? DD? Our DD had dropped u?" she interrupts Geet in mid not able to believe on her ears
"Ya but y are u saying like dis?" she asked in a confused way not understanding Pinky's weird behaviour
"Arey you don't know Geet wat had he done today. He had dropped u home. He had never ever done dis for any of his employees no matter hw much late dey had to stay in the office not even Adi Sir. U know her previous secretaries ha stayed at office almost till midnight but he had never care for dem that how will dey reach dere home but today he dropped you. It's really unbelievable." Pinky replied in a non-believing way nd Geet just gets thoughtful in her sentence
Again an Enigma, Dis is wat Geet can comprehend from Pinky's words. Acc to Pinky he had never dropped any employee home no matter hw much late dey stay at the office not even his previous female secretaries den y did he dropped her today? Is she's mistaking in understanding him. May be he was not that bad like wat she's thinking about him. But the way he had behaved wid her till now had only make her to come to a conclusion that he's nothing but a heartless jerk but wat Pinky had told her today it seems that somewhere in his heart he too had some kindness left.
"Oye Geet! Main kabse bak-bak kare ja rahi hoon aur tu hai ki pata nahi kya soch rahi hai" Pinky said it loud bringing Geet back from her thoughts [Oye Geet! i was continously blabbering from so long? where are u Lost in ur thoughts]
Geet: huh…. Nothing Pinky bas aise hi. Acha m very much tired so m going to sleep
Pinky: not at all Geet. First u'll eat something den u'll go to sleep. u didn't had anything after breakfast
Geet: Pinky pls I had no strength left anymore pls let me go to sleep.
Pinky: I said na no. nd anyways Dinner is all ready so u just need to have it. nw come wid me.
She said nd forcefully dragged her towards the dining table. Geet had no energy left to argue wid her so she did wat she wants. Pinky served her dinner first nd forcefully made her to eat. Somehow Geet completed her dinner nd was about to take her plate towards sink wen Pinky stopped her
Pinky: Geet, u r very much tired. U go nd freshen up I'll do it.
Geet just nodded to her nd left for her room to change into her night dress. Pinky puts the plates in the sink nd cleans the table in the mean while. After making sure that everything has been done properly she switched off the lights nd headed towards her room. As soon as she enters inside the room the sight over dere made her both surprised nd happy.
She saw Geet lyieng on the bed without changing her dress sleeping peacefully. Her Bag was hanging loosely on the bed while she still had her sandals on her feet. Pinky smiled seeing her sleeping like a child nd goes near her. She removes the sandals from her feet nd places it properly on the bed. Next she puts her bag aside nd keeps her head comfortably on the pillow nd tucked the Blanket around her.
"I don't know about you Geet but I literally want to thank Maan Sir today as because of him for the first tym in dese 2 months u had slept without taking your sleeping pills. Haven't he had given u piles of work den u'll never get dis much tired to sleep without taking the help of any pill. Unknowingly Maan Sir has done a very good thing." She thought while looking at her sleeping form nd goes to other side of the bed nd soon drifted to sleep.

On the other hand Maan was not at all able to sleep a wink. He goes to his gym taking out his frustration over dere. Wid every punches nd kicks only Geet's tear stricken face came in front of him. He still didn't understand y did he dropped her moreover y did he even thought of dropping her at first place. Nd wen Dat Boys were holding her his blood just boiled, but y? He throws a kick in the air as he reminded of that moment.
Wen that boys touched her he just wanted to break dere limbs for touching her. It burned somewhere inside him wen he saw dem touching her, how badly he wanted to take dere eyes out of dere balls for even looking at her. Nd den her helpless condition nd her scared face has just increased his rage but y? He hits the wooden plank hard breaking it into pieces as dis thought crossed in his mind.
He really don't understand y he is thinking so much for the girl of which he just hates mere sight. He had never ever care for any of his employees if they had stayed late at night at office. Neither did he cared for any of his previous secretaries den y did he cared for her dis much dat he wanted to make sure that she reached home safe; dat he don't want her to face any kind of trouble.
He met her just 3 days before nd hardly knows her. Moreover since the tym he had met her she has done nothing but to irritate him by answering him back yet today he wanted her to be safe, why? He himself has decided to make her life hell den hw can he worry for her well-being, WHY!!!!!! Dese thoughts were literally frustrating him nd to take out all his frustration he just keeps on punching nd kicking in the air. His body was all tired due to his vigorous tai-chi but he was nowhere to stop. Finally he lost his balance nd fell on the floor
"I'll not let you affect me Geet Handa. If u think that u can spell bound me wid Ur charm nd innocence den you are wrong. I don't know y did I agreed to help you today but not anymore because Maan Singh Khurana never commits any mistake twice. U cannot be escaped from the hell created by me. U just can't. Game has not yet over Ms. Geet Handa" he thought while pushing his hairs back in frustration.
After sometym he gets up from dere nd headed towards his room but before dat he stopped near his drawer where he had kept something which even he don't know y did he kept it wid him. He opens the drawer nd took out the same anklet which was dere wid him from last two months.
"I don't know y but I feel that the emotions, the pain I saw in Ur eyes that nite were true nd not fake. You are the first girl of whom I just can't think ill even if I want to. Don't know what happened wid u that you are in so much pain but not everyone is like you. Dere are many people who use dere innocence as dere weapon to spellbind others just like dis Geet Handa. But dis tym she's mistaking to consider MSK as others. If even for a second I had think of having any similarity between u nd Geet den I was utterly wrong. She can't have any similarity wid you" he thought nd den puts the anklet back to its place nd goes to his room to catch some sleep.

Days went by nd as promised Maan had left no stones unturned to make Geet lyf miserable. It's been 3 weeks since Geet is working for Maan nd everyday was not less den a challenge for her. After that night Maan had become careful regarding his emotions. He made himself sure to not to loose his senses in front of her. He don't know why but dere's an unknown force which was pulling him towards her nd to hide that attraction he has to mask his feelings behind his anger. And in vain of hiding his attraction he had done everything to make her lyf hell. Dere's no doubt that she had always done her work efficiently yet he never says dis to her as he thinks that if he appreciates a girl that too a girl like Geet Handa of whom he had promised to make her lyf hell den it'll just show his weakness nd Maan Singh Khurana has never been weak in front of anyone den forget about Geet.
On the other hand day by day it was getting difficult for Geet to bear Maan's tantrums. God knows from where does he new ideas everyday to harass her. Since the day she had started working for him she had not listened even a word from him to appreciate her work no matter how efficiently she do that. Everyday he find dis or that fault in the coffee prepared by her nd if not coffee den he would have gave her piles of work to complete some of which are not her job also yet she had to do dat just because she's bind in a contract of 6 months nd more den contract it's the matter of her self-respect. She has to prove her arrogant, rude boss that not everyone is like wat he thinks of nd for that she'll bear each nd every tantrums of him. No doubt she's still thankful to Maan for saving her that night nd she tried to say that to him too next day but seeing his rude, arrogant behaviour she just changed her mind. God knows wat sin she has committed to bear dis much hatredness from him. But she bears everything without giving him any chance of complaint nd completes his each nd every task. Moreover with the help of Adi she had became quiet familiar with office environment nd Adi was always dere to help her in every difficult situation making sure that Maan don't have any knowledge for dis.
And not to forget Geet had to deal with two most annoying people one is her boss nd the other one is none other den Sasha. For once she gets some peace from Maan but Sasha never left any chance to make her fall in Maan's eyes. She wanted her to be out of KC as soon as possible. she still haven't forget that moment wen Geet had answered back to Sasha so she looks every possible way to trap her for any accusation but to her luck Geet always gets saved from every evil plan of hers. But dis tym she was planning to do something big after which she was sure that Geet will be no more at KC nd she's just waiting for the right moment.
And it seems that moment came. It was one fine day nd KC has to sign a very important deal wid one of their client Mehta's. It was a presentation day nd everything will depend on this presentation. Dey had already unhappy wid their previous presentation so dis tym Sasha has made designs by keeping pros nd cons in her mind making sure that the previous mistakes should not be repeated dis tym nd Maan has full faith on her designs. But it seems Sasha had some other plans in her mind. Maan, Geet, Sasha nd Adi were in Maan's cabin where he was telling him what to do or what to not do.
"Adi, Sasha u all know how much important dis deal is for us. I don't want any kind of loop holes dis tym. Did u all get that?" he said in an authorative tone making everyone shiver
"Don't worry MK everything is fine. U had already cross-checked the design twice nd dey are perfect so dis tym dere's no chance of dem to reject our design" Sasha replied confidently.
"Y-y-yes Sir, the budget file is also ready nd every other document regarding the deal is also ready. Dere's no need to worry" Adi assured him
"Good. Geet u'll be there at the presentation too wid me nd will note down each nd every important point nd make sure I don't want any kind of mistakes."
"Does he have to remind me the same thing Everytym he gives me a task" She thought while twisting her lips.
"Don't worry sir, I'll make sure of that" she replied with full confidence while Maan just nodded
"Good so presentation will be in next 3 hours till den everybody get back to work nd Sasha since you are going to give dis presentation den I would suggest u to prepare once again."
"Sure MK" she replied while batting her eye lashes
"So everyone get back to work. NOW!!!!" he said a bit loud nd everyone started getting disperse from his cabin
"Geet Ek min. Tum ruko" his sudden voice startled Geet nd she stops dead in her tracks while the rest left his cabin. [Geet, 1 min. u stay]
"Hey Babaji ab kaun si kayamat aane wali hai" She thought nd turned to look at him. [hey Babaji! nw wat disaster had to come]
Geet: Yes Sir
Maan: Geet, dis project is really important for me nd I want dis at any cost. So just for today I want both of us to forget dis challenge between us nd concentrate more on the presentation rather den the hide nd Seek game between us. And as all the arrangements of the presentation are Ur responsibility so I want you to do it efficiently without any single mistake. Did u get that?
"Yes Sir Nd u don't have to remind me again nd again the same thing. If u haven't said dis to me den also I would have done my work efficiently as if u are forgotten den let me remind dat I m also the part of this company nd I'll always think of its well-being nd for that I m even ready to leave dis game between us for a day." She replied wid her head high in confidence nd Maan just shakes his head on her attitude
"Fine den get back to work nd once again not a single mistake." He said nd gets back to his chair indicating Geet to leave his cabin. Geet just rolled over her eyes nd left the cabin to check all the arrangements of presentation.
But unknown to both of dem someone is listening to their conversation while making a wicked plan in her mind. It was Sasha who had now got the opportunity to throw Geet out of dis office.
"Don't worry Geet. Dis will be your last task as after this no one will bother u for anything because after dis u r not going to be in office." She thought wid a wicked smile playing on her lips nd left from dere.

"u know na Tasha wat u have to do" Sasha asked as she saw Peon coming out from Maan's cabin with the design file in his hand nd going towards Geet's cabin to get the photocopy of it.
"Don't worry Sasha Ma'am I very well know my work." She replied nd Sasha handed over her a similar file nd she left at the direction from where peon is cuming
She purposely bumped into him making him drop the design file along wid hers nd made a fake angry face.
"Wat the hell cant u see nd walk. Look wat you have done. Silly boy" she said wid a fake anger nd bends down to pick up the file.
"I am sorry madam. I'll just pick it up." by saying dis he too bends down but Tasha stops him in the mid-way
"Let it be I'll do that. Don't know how come the clumsy peoples like you are still in this office." She said while carefully replacing the right file with the wrong one nd then gets up. Peon was expecting her to pick up the other file too but Tasha just gives him a glare
"Wat? Do u expect me to pick up ur file too. Just pick it up urself nd get back to your work. Silly peoples" she said nd headed towards other direction. Peon picks up the file nd headed inside the Geet's cabin unknown to the fact that he was taking the wrong file inside.
Tasha goes towards Sasha nd handed over him the right file with a victory smile on her face.
"Very Good Tasha. U had done a fabulous job. Nw its tym for Step 2. Just wait nd watch u behenji how I'll throw you out from dis office" she said evilly nd moves towards Geet's cabin to execute the step 2 of her plan.

Geet was in her cabin arranging the Xerox papers in the files nicely dat Maan had given her to do wen Sasha entered in her cabin wid a sad face. Geet noticed her nd thought wats wrong with her. She was always here to taunt her for something but today she's here wid a sad face. Is everything okay wid her?
"What Happen Sasha Ma'am? U are looking sad. Are u okay" Geet asked in a concerned voice to which Sasha broke into tears
"Geet, nothing is right. My Mom had met wid an Accident. Just now someone has called me to inform dis nd she's hospitalized. I need to go dere but I can't go because I had to give this presentation. I don't know what should I do?" she said while sobbing nd Geet just falls into her fake tears
"Sasha ma'am what to think in that. U should be there wid your Mom. She needs you" Geet said while consoling her
Sasha: But how Geet, u knw this presentation is very much important for KC nd it just can't be cancelled nd I had to be here.
Geet: Sasha Ma'am there must be some way
Sasha: there is a way Geet. If u can give dis presentation, pls don't refuse to it Geet.
Geet: But Sasha Ma'am how will I give dis presentation, I don't know anything about it
"Geet u are very intelligent nd I know that moreover u had the design files too. I m sure that if u'll go through it once den u'll understand everything. Pls Geet my Mom needs Me." she said while blackmailing her emotionally knowing vey well dis trick will work.
And it did as Geet went thoughtful. She knows what a mother means to anyone as she herself was missing her mother from last 3 months nd irony is that she don't even know how is she. Finally after lot of thinking she agrees to help him
"Ok Sasha Ma'am I m ready to help u. but Maan Sir……" she said wid a doubt only to be interrupted by Sasha
"You don't worry about him. I m just going to talk to him only but first I wanted to talk to you. Thank u so much Geet. You are really very nice." She said with a fake gratitude smile nd left from the cabin leaving Geet behind to pray for Sasha's mother. But she's unknown to the fact that it is all an act to trap her in a big mess

"yes MK as I told you before that my mother is hospitalized nd I need to be there but if you want me to stay den….." she said only to be interrupted by Maan
"No Sasha u should be there with ur mother. We can postpone this presentation" Maan said as a matter of fact
"No MK u can't do dis. I mean u know hw much important this presentation is for us. Trust me MK Geet will give a gud presentation" Sasha said immediately fearing that her plan will get futile.
Maan: are u sure Sasha?
Sasha: yes MK. Only if you permit.
Maan thought for a while nd den agrees to it.
"Okay Sasha if you have so much confidence on Geet den let her give dis presentation. Nd u can take leave for the rest of the day." He said after thinking for a while
"Thank u MK. I'll see you tomorrow" she said nd let his cabin giving a victory smile for the success of her plan.
"I just wish Geet that you give this presentation without any clumsiness nd without keeping the tiff between us in ur mind" he thought while looking at Geet's cabin who was studying the design file wid full concentration.

Finally the tym of presentation came nd Maan nd Geet were in the conference hall waiting for the client nd doing the final arrangements for the presentation.
"Geet are you all ready for the presentation"
"Yes Sir. I had thoroughly studied the designs nd all ready to present it."
"OK. Just let me have a look on it once more" he said nd was about to pick up the file wen the intercom rings nd pinky informs him that the clients had arrived. Maan keeps the file back to its place nd asks pinky to bring dem inside. Pinky nd Adi escorted dem inside the conference hall where Maan nd Geet are already waiting for dem.
"Gud Afternoon Mr. Mehta. Hope you are doing fine" he said while shaking his hands wid his
Mr. Mehta: Good afternoon Mr. Khurana, I m keeping well. Hope you are all ready to give the presentation.
Maan: Ofcourse Mr. Mehta we are all ready nd Geet will give today's presentation
Mr. Mehta: Geet? But if I m not wrong den Ms. Sasha was supposed to give this presentation
Maan: Yes Mr. Mehta but she had to go due to an emergency so Geet will give the presentation in her place.
Mr. Mehta: ok. Hope dis tym we'll not get disappoint Mr. Khurana
Maan: ofcourse not Mr. Mehta. Pls have your seat.
He said nd everyone takes their seat nd Maan takes the seat in front of the presentation board to get a clear view of her presentation silently wishing that she don't do any mistake becoz now Sasha is also not here to save of she does any mistake.
"Gentleman before I start the presentation I would like that you all have a look on the files placed in front of you." Geet said in a sweet voice almost mesmerizing every male in the hall including Maan too.
As soon as Mr. Mehta opens the file he knotted his brows in disappointment seeing the content in it nd Looks at Maan who was sitting on his chair waiting for their reaction
"What Kind of joke is dis Mr. Khurana? Have u called us to make a fool of us?" Mr. Mehta said in a harsh voice
"Any Problem Mr. Mehta" Maan asked confusingly not understanding the reason of his sudden outburst.
"Problem? Mr. Khurana you are asking me this? Is dis is what u prepared for presentation. Mr. Khurana dese are the same designs that we had rejected Last tym nd u had again presented it in front of us. Wat the hell do you want to do? I had really not expect such a behaviour from u" Mr. Mehta said while slamming the file on the table angrily showing his disappointment
Maan immediately opens the file placed in front of him nd realizes that Mr. Mehta was right. dese are the same designs that dey had rejected earlier. He looked angrily at Geet thinking that she has done dis purposely. On the other hand Geet too as confused with the turn of events because as far as she knows Sasha has made new designs den how come the old Designs are here in front of clients. She looked at Maan thinking that dis is another plan of him to humiliate in front of all.
"I don't believe dis Geet that u could stoop so low. U know dis very well wat importance dis contract had for my company. Still U had brought our differences between this presentation nd made dis mistake purposely Inspite of my warning u umpteenth tym. I'll not forgive you for dis Geet. Never" he thought
"I don't believe dis Maan Sir for humiliating me in front of others u can go to this extent that u'll risk such an important contract of urs. U purposely gave me the wrong file for the Xerox so that u can blame me for all that. Today u had crossed all limits today to make my lyf hell." She thought.
Both blames each other mentally unknown of the fact that none of dem are to be blamed as dey both are stuck up in dis situation due to the evil plan of someone else
