Frustrations abound with the pace of the show.
The CVS seem to think that the viewers are happy just to have Gopi and Ahem in the same shot at times!!
Yes the CVs have shown movement in their relationship but unfortunately they seem to have reached a standstill, in fact I think they've made GoHem take some steps forward in the way they communicate with each other ie they are able to talk to each other clamly and clearly when it comes to the family and things to do with the other members of the household. They've never been closer in terms of that.
BUT their personal relationship has, I think, taken a step backwards. Before Rashi's kalakari's were reveled, and before Rashi was kidnapped (all seems to come back to Rashi doesn't it!) GoHem were becoming closer on a personal level. We had eyelocks, accidental touches, jealousy and possessiveness. They were almost flirting, so hopes were high.
Now however we are seeing more and more of GoHem on screen but not really in all the ways we wish to. Yes it's nice to see them working together and helping each other like a married couple, but it that doesn't mean we don't want to see advancement in their personal relationship.
I know that the show is doing really well in terms of viewership so the powers that be will want to stretch the show as much as they want but they need to be careful not to stretch our patience too.
As for today, I understand that Kokila is frustrated but I think she is taking her anger out on the wrong people. There was no need in today's episode to blow up at Gopi. But she is human so I can let it go.
Her expectations of the people she loves are high but she does need to think about her family as well here. We all know for Kokila her family is everything, and that the centre of her universe is her Ahem. And in fact her Ahem is doing the right thing by his family. He is working with his wife to make his brother and SIL happy. Like it or not Rashi is here to stay and while I don't agree that she should be forgiven for what she has done, the family (apart from Koki) are only aware of one kalakari - the way Urshi cheated to get RaJi married, and if the Modi's are not going for a divorce then it's better to move on and work on the problem. Now if other kalakaries were also revealed then obviously it would be harder for the family to forgive her, but to their knowledge she tricked to get into the house but has been a bahu while there (if that makes any sense).
Ahem and Gopi have seen how upset Jigar has been but they are aware that RaJi are not going to separate so I understand why they are trying to get RaJi together.
I may not agree with it but it does need to be done.
Another thing that has been bugging me for a while is the Modi Business. Well not the business per se but Kokila's involvement.
Koki doesn't work in the business and personally I don't like her meddling in business matters. If Ahem makes an error in the business then I feel it is up to Chirag to mention it, not Koki. It infuriates me that she is always at him when he may miss a business meeting or if he comes home early. Chirag has never mentioned that Ahem has fallen behind on his work schedule or that he has made an error or mistake, so it is safe to assume that Ahem is doing well.
None of the other Modi women are interfering in business matters, and in a similar way the men don't meddle in the household matters. I have no problem with women in business and if Koki is that interested then maybe she could get her own cabin and actually work for Modi Industries doing whatever it is that they do, but I don't appreciate Ahem being scolded at home like a little kid for decisions he makes regarding his work.
I'm not sure whether I have anything else to rant about now.
