Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma team went to Kutch to celebrate 26 of January.
"It was a fun trip", comments Dilip Joshi. The entire bunch of episodes are very very special. From shooting in the train in the special coach provided by Gujarat Government and Tourism department, to getting the permission to shoot inside the temple of Ashapura Maata, it has so many special moments.
According to Disha Wakhani, "The temple is more the 15000 years old and nobody has even been allowed to take a picture inside the premises. We were so very lucky to get the special permission and even shoot part of the show inside the temple."
But the most beautiful experience that the team had was hoisting the flag with the Jawans of BSF & villagers with white sand all around.
Producer Asit Kumar Modi says, "White Runn of Kutch is nothing, but salt grounds all over. It was extremely cold there, but the entire team was at the location early in the morning at 5 AM. BSF Jawans were so happy because most of them watch our serial and they had never imagined that they would be hoisting the flag with their favourite artistes. Entire experience was so very unique."
The team indulged in all kinds of fun. They stayed in tents and roughened it out. They went for hot air balloon and camel rides. They even danced around the campfire on Kutchi folk songs.
"Because of the location we could bring in unique look in the show. Asit ji had done the recce of this location for another show and since then, he had wanted to use this. As soon as he could take the story there, the entire team got the chance to explore beauty of this remote area. Till date no serial has been shot there" concludes Dilip Joshi.
