Bollywood's dimple girl is celebrating her 37th birthday..The bubbly girl was born in the year 1975 into a Hindu Rajput family to Durganand ZInta and Nilprabha.

Preity has two brothers Deepankar and Manish.

Preity studied at the Convent of Jesus and Mary boarding school in Shimla..She graduated with an English honours degree and then started a graduate programme in Psychology..She earned a Post-Graduate degree in Criminal Psychology.

Preity then took to modelling and also did TV commercials..Her first ad was for Perk Chocolate

Preity made her debut in Bollywood in the movie Kya Kehna(2000) where she portrayed the role of teenage mother.She also acted in movies Dil Se, Mission Kashmir, Dil Chahta Hain, Chori Chori Chupke Chupke, Dil Hain Tumhaara, Soldier, Sangharsh, The Hero, Koi Mil Gaya, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Armaan, Lakshya, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Veer Zara, Khullam Khulla Pyaar Karein, Salaam Namaste, Jaan-E-Mann,Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, Dil Ne Jise Apna Kahaa, Farz,Yeh Raaste Hain Pyaar Ke,Dil Hain Tumhara,The Last Lear etc.

Preity is in Paris now for the movie Ishkq to be produced under her production house PZNZ Media
She is also the owner of Kings Royal Punjab
