Mini walks out of Popkorn!

Mini makes headlines again! The lady who's known for her anchoring skills has opted out of the spicy show Popkorn on Zoom. We had recently reported about Mini hosting Sahara One's Sirf Ek Minute Mein earlier known as Dial One.

Mini had been on Popkorn for more than a year and was co-anchoring Shonali Nagrani. Says Mini, "Well, yes I have quit Popkorn. I had done enough and there was a faint feeling of boredom. It did get monotonous, though I was a co-anchor!"

On being asked about any major reasons for taking this step, she sighs, "There have been no problems with the channel, they have been extremely sweet to me, but I had certain money issues with them, so thought of backing off!"

On condition of anonymity, a source close to the production house says, "Yes, she has opted out of Popkorn!" and was reluctant in revealing the details.

Though Mini has called it quits, the emotional attachment stays on! "It is very difficult to part away with a show which you have been doing since a very long time. And I have enjoyed each and every moment of being a part of this show," states Mathur.

Mini now has here arms wide open welcoming other shows! "I am certainly open to new shows, but I don't change my mind of doing something different like soaps," laughs out Mini. An excited Mini continues, "I don't see my self doing soaps as of now, I have been presenting since day one, and I have mastered that by now!

With Sirf Ek Minute Mein on Sahara One Mini wants to take up something that she can handle once Indian Idol three takes off. "I can't take up too much, which is later difficult to handle. I love my personal life so I need time to spend with my family and friends."
