Brat and spoilt...

Headstrong and obstinate...

blind and Nincompoops...

Heartbreakers and Heartburners!!!

Right from the moment he announces his siding with Raman to the moment Gulaal leaves with Dushy...

They dont leave us with a moment's peace...

And I tell you the house is filled with blind people...and if the CVs wanted to show everyone's obliviousness they were right to keep MB away from the whole scenario...because that was one person who would never have tolerated this one...

But still even JK misses this one..that although he is siding Raman and is going against Dushyant...it is Gulaal he is staring at!!

And the sidelooks he gives Dushyant..at this moment the object of his hate, his reason of the hate and his hatred are all combined into one form...Gulaal!!!

Oh I absolutely love this one...it is as if his life itself is passing before him...
I had said it on KRML also...the moment Dushyant said Chal Gulaal...it was as if Dushyant had snatched the ground below his feet and made him hang in the air for a moment...so suspended he is in that moment!

I always have wondered at this stroke from the CV and the actor...
the way he becomes when she just moves out of his periphery...

As if lost in the world...as if has come out of a sudden windstorm ..like a boat thrown across in the midst of a sea after a tornado hits it...completely drifting nowhere...no sense of directions and whereabouts!!

And ofcourse the satyanash of the room...as if nothing made sense without her...not even the letters...the futility of their being when she was not there...

and Terrorist has to come...one of the rare conversation that I like...

He is so insecure...inspite of the fact that he is angry you know that he is clutching for straws...this time because he knows that she will be back..he is just a bit unsure...but when she leaves the house forever...you can see you how clings to Talli and her approval...
I know we hate her...but she was one of the good thing that had happened to both of them...a friend when both of them needed...when the other was not there...the most unwelcome cupid ever seen...
As I wrote in the KRML also that...it was assurance he was seeking for himself...the scene downstairs had made him a bad boy and a demon in the eyes of all...especially Gulaal...he wanted, just for a moment, to feel that he was not so bad after all, to tell the world that he is definitely not that bad, and there by console himself that he is not, inadequate for the woman whom everybody seemingly worships...

*sigh* it is not Vasant he has to live upto, it is her, and that is what is so hard for him...

The Election scene...brat unleashed!

and the ullu ka patha thinks that few of his drunkard friends can actually win the elections for Raman😕

I tell you this one must have gone against him..just look at his eyes ...if only looks could kill!

And then as he comes out and searches for her...

Look at this one..

His mind body soul...only on one thing...

And am going to skip the two pathetic 007s sneaking and rummaging Kesar's room😡

I am going to start from the moment he comes in...
Still holding high!

And the way he looks at the letters and takes them...

The way he sits gingerly..a kind of softness in that gesture..as if he is sitting in front of his roothi biwi ..ready to placate her..

You know there is something so heartbreaking in that gesture...

the way he was pampering the letters, he was actually feeling the essence of his love😳, his Gulaal😳...the letters are such precious memories for him,,,they are the ones on which he survived ten years of separation, and once again, they are the ones he has to depend on, with the future rift flashing right before his eyes...

And the way he does it..as if he has done it a hundred times before

He must have done this so many times in the loneliness of the hostel when her memories would have made him lose it...when he would have taken it all out on the letters and then again gathered them up and pampered, smoothed them the same way..
and the way he heaves a sigh...as if finally at peace...found his salavation...away from all the politics and Ramans and Dushyants of the world...one place on the earth where he was safe and completely with her...and I so hate Talli for puncturing that sanctuary of his...
