He paced back and fourth trying to come up with some solution to this..but what? There has to be something that he can do to gain her trust..he tried getting close to her but after the gym fiasco he knew that would be hard. He still wondered about his name, Armaan..why would she name him that? The pain and sorrow he saw in her eyes as she was boxing...what is her mystery past?
He looks out the window and saw Geet and Pari standing below talking about something..they were being serious..he hid so that they can't see him to listen to their conversation..
Pari: Geet how can you do that...I don't agree with you
Geet: i never asked whether you agree or not...you have to do what I say..now no more arguments...
Pari: It could be dangerous especially if you are trying to rob a policeman house...you can't go alone..(Maan was shocked at this...policeman house? Why sudden change in the pattern?)
Geet: Nothing will happen Pari..you know I can take care of myself...
Pari: I know but still..you are like my older sister and I care about you...I don't want you to do any mission by yourself
Geet: I know Pari but I don't have a choice..I can't risk you guys getting caught in this mission...You guys are my responsibility and I need to do this alone
Pari: But
Geet: enough! I have decided already and that is it! I am not changing my mind...(she leaves...Pari stands there thinking talking to herself)
Pari: There has to be someone that we can send with Geet...
Maan stands up and goes to his room..."So she needs a partner...hmm maybe this will help me get in their gang..now I need to create a situation where they think am worthy enough to be in the gang..." He smirks as he thought of a plan to join their gang..he jumps on the bed and closes his eyes..he imagines being close to Geet...
He sees her in front of him looking at him with shyness, he slowly gets up to approach her...she walks backwards as he gets closer and closer toward her, she backs up against the wall as he closes the gap between them...she puts her head down..Maan brings her chin up to make him look at him...he smiles...she closes her eyes..Maan leans closer to kiss her...
"hello"
Maan felt something hitting him hard on his back..."ouch" he says out loud...he realized that he was near the door leaning against the wall..Geet was not there..he turned around and saw Geet standing their looking at him weird..Maan smiles
Maan: woh
Geet: lunch is ready...if you are hungry
Maan: hmm thanks...uhh Geet...
Geet (looks at him just when she was about to leave) Yes?
Maan: ohh umm thanks for letting me know about lunch
She gives him a weird look before leaving..Maan hits his head for coming up with nothing to say to her...he sat in front of the ladies quietly eating lunch like the other day. None spoke again. He kept looking at Geet who avoided looking at him...Pari looks at Maan..Maan looks her way and smiles..she smiles back...
Meera paid no attention to him and only gave Pari the eye which made Pari look down on her plate...Maan brought his attention back on the food and to think how to implement his plan...he needed to join their gang by today for this robbery. He knew he has to wait for the right moment in order make his plan work. He had to wait.

Maan waited in his room until everyone slept..he had to make sure that he doesn't go out of the room too early..he didn't want anyone to wake up and ruin his plan. He laid on the bed his thoughts again occupied by Geet rather then about the case. He still wondered what was so interesting about her? Why has she captivated his thoughts so much?
He had never thought about girls to this extent..they came and went from his life and he couldn't care less but not Geet...no matter how hard he tries to NOT think about her...he ends up thinking about her...he gets up from the bed to wash his face with cold water...maybe that will bring him out of her thoughts...well one can hope...
He looks at the time again..it was 2am...he slowly gets out of the bed and opens the door..he heard no noise...it was very quiet...he slowly tiptoed to his destination...he opens the door and smiles...her gym room...he takes out some of his tools...he looks around the room and begins initiating his plan...he had his whole night to cover and the whole house to cover...

In the morning, Maan woke up with a heavy head..he wanted to go back to sleep after the amount of hard work he did last night but he had to see if his plan will work or not...it was 8am..by now he knew Geet's schedule...he quickly got off the bed to get ready for his morning walk...he was about to walk out of the house when Meera came in front of him looking at him suspiciously..
Maan: Good morning! (he smiles and tries to act as if everything is cool)
Meera: Where are you going Armaan?
Maan: For morning walk...I get bored sitting at home so I decided to take a walk for little while
Meera: You sure seem to know the areas around here
Maan: well I have been running around the same area for a week now...
He looks at his time...he was being late..every second counts...) umm can I go now?
Meera steps aside letting him pass bye...Maan knew she was still looking at him..he turns his head her way as he jogged..she looks at him before disappearing inside the house...Maan goes outside the gates of the house..as soon as he was couple of blocks away from the house...he stops..he puts on his hoodie hiding his face..he sees the neighbors house gate was open..he goes inside the gate making sure to hide himself, he saw a big wall that would lead to Geet's room...he couldn't go back to the house the same since Meera would be keeping an eye out for him..he jumps off the wall..
He hides behind the tree to wait for Geet...he had the perfect view of her balcony...he looks at the time, two minutes until she comes out...he leans against the tree waiting for her and sure enough she came on time with her coffee...he saw her leaning against the rail like he hoped...last night he had loosened the railing support on purpose..he knew that she would do this..she has been doing the same things everyday..
she was very punctual, he liked that about her...she puts her arms on top of the rails as she looks ahead sipping coffee like a lost girl. It still bothered him that he doesn't know her thoughts, he wanted to get inside her head but was so hard...she had walls protecting her heart, why?
Geet leaned against the rail as she thought about her past, how she was left alone at the young age, she thought about Armaan...his smile, why she feels something burning whenever Pari is close to him..what kind of feelings are those? She never felt like that about anyone before..she never let any guy be near her like Armaan...why does she yearn for his touch? What is so special about him?
"What are you thinking Geet?" She turns around, so now she was leaning her back against the rail as she saw Meera coming in with her coffee...Geet sips her coffee
Geet: umm nothing..just life
Meera: Your past? (Geet sighs) You have to forget what happened..
Geet: How can I? My past made me the bandit queen...its what drives me to rob rich people
Meera: I know...you know sometimes I wish we could lead a better normal life
Geet: Normal...what is normal? I kind of like this new living...
Meera (leans against the wall and looks at her) So what do you think about Armaan? (Geet stops sipping her coffee and looks at her...)
Geet: What do you mean?
Meera; I mean Pari seems to be really comfortable around him
Geet; And you are not?
Meera: No...but you know me..am suspicious of everything and everyone and at times my suspicion comes true
Geet: Hmmm I don't know why you are asking me about him
Meera; Come on Geet I am not stupid...I could see that you have some thing for him...
Geet: No I don't..
Meera: Don't deny Geet..we might be born into differenet families but we are like sisters..I have known you since your childhood...I know you more then you know yourself..right now I know that you are lying
Geet: I...
She leans all the way until the railing falls...Maan waited and waited for the railing to break...her back was toward him and he could see that she was talking to Meera...he smiles when he saw her falling backwards..he quickly comes out running toward her...
"GEET" Meera comes near and saw Maan running toward Geet..she sighs in relief when he caught her...Geet had her eyes closed as she was falling...she slowly opens her eyes when she didn't feel any pain and found herself staring at Maan...he was really close to her..both look at one another...as if there is no one..just in each other's world
Pari and Meera come down and saw them looking at one another...
"uhh Geet..." Geet turns and saw them looking at them..she nudges Maan to put her down..he puts her down...
Pari: What happened Geet are you okay?
Geet: yeah..
Maan: looks like the railing was loose...
Meera: how could that be?
Maan: I don't know...am glad I was quick enough to catch her
Pari; Yeah Armaan..good thing you caught her or else she would've broken some bones
Maan: no problem..as long as am here she can't get hurt..(he looks at Geet...she gives him a smile)
Meera: Come Geet let me see if you got hurt or not...(she nodes her head yes and goes inside with everyone..Maan stands there and smirks.."by the end of the day I will be in your gang")
