Is it just me or is Jai's eye magic lost?

Agreed! but I have a justification for it! See, the thing is that Jai is highly amused by Bani's unabashed stares and perhaps that is why he is unable to hide his amusement in his stares! He is unable to digest his wife's smitten attitude.😆

But yeah, that intensity, where is it?? Perhaps it will return at night when they are in the bedroom, alone. 😳

Its not just you, Aditee, even I felt the same..but due to fear of being beaten by a belan by all the huge Jai fans, I kept quiet..hee hee (ofcourse, I am also a bigtime JW fan, not doubt!)..
I felt that after the 19th epi, he's not quite the same..especially his eye expressions, like u said, were not at all satisfactory to me..particularly in the hospital when he goes to see Bani..not enuf concern or worry or panic or relief shown there..even today, when he stares at Bani at the home-temple (when Bani's saree is about to catch fire), I found his expression actually funny..I want that 19th wala expressions back!! waaaahhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

Really Aditee? 😕 Hmm...that's odd I thought he did a better job than yest and in fact I thought it was Bani who was plain and dull with her eyes today. I mean they didn't express much today....but Jai's I thought had this bouncy kiddish expression especially everytime he saw Bani....indicating his dil ka haal 😉

OMG, am I happy or what that there are others who thought the same as I did! 😳 I swear, I thought the same thing....somehow Jai did not come out to be as impressive as he usually is.....Even I found his stare to be comical.... 😆 For that matter even Prachi looked as if she will burst out laughing!

My informer did tell me that these two are forever laughing and sometimes it is impossible for the Director to get them serious and do the scene properly...Maybe it was one of those days! 😆

Somehow, I feel that Ram excels in scenes which are intense and powerful, but he is not all that good in the soft-romantic kind of scenes...kind of doesn't gel wtih his Jai Walia Personality!

Now I am dying to see the video...can't wait till it downloads. Yest he was off the mark but I hope that was a one day slip...hopefully in this latest video he's our Jai again.

There is only 1 simple answer to this ,on june 19th jai lost all his magical powers to bani.Now bani is doing all the intense stareing. 😃

Maybe u r right, MT, that Ram excels in intense and powerful scenes suited to the JW character, but Ram was soooo nice in that passionate scene of June 19th!! I remember, in all those cute scenes (May episodes) where he looks at her, especially the one where Bani sleeps on his arms and he is not able to lift his hand, and then the one with the sui-dhaga-button, his eye expressions are sooo good!
