Arnav saw Khushi standing on the edge of the stair and her eyes looked heavy. He saw her slowly closing them and finding it difficult to keep conscious. Arnav ran towards Khushi as he felt her not able to balance herself. Just when she was about to lose her balance and fall, Arnav caught her by the hand. He pulled her towards himself and picked her up in his arms. He took her and made her sit on a bench. Khushi was unconscious to which Arnav tried to make her drink water so that she could gain consciousness.

Khushi: What did you just do? Why did you make me drink water and break the fast?

Arnav: you were UNCONSIOUS!!! Your health is more important than some stupid fast. It's not a big deal.

Khushi: Yes the fast IS A BIG DEAL. And why did YOU BREAK it?

Arnav: you saying as if it was for someone else? He said in his famous sarcastic tone. But surprisingly his sarcasm didn't hurt her anymore.

Khushi: It's for me. My belief in God and for my lo... my SELF. She said in a calm yet firm voice.

Arnav knew he had hurt her yet again. There he had come to say sorry to her and messed up things again.

Arnav: Khushi, I am S'

Khushi: I have told you before that you don't need to say things to me that you don't want to or can't. I do understand you. She said looking straight in his eyes.

Arnav stood there speechless seeing her trust him with this depth. Khushi turned on her heels and walked at a fast pace trying to get away from him. But to her bad luck, her head started spinning again. But before Khushi could fall again, Arnav caught her by the waist.

She tried to walk away from him and went in the mandir to greet everyone. But couldn't stop herself to look for him or in his direction every now and then.

She felt his hand touching hers as she passed on the puja ki thal to him for the aarti. Her hands were shivering below his touch full of warmth. How bad she had wanted to feel that touch all her life. But now even that warmth was lost somewhere.

She could feel him standing right behind her. His breath falling in the nape of her neck, making her feel dizzy. She wanted to just turn around and hug him. Cry her heart out to him; and tell him how much she loved him. But she knew she couldn't. If she did, she will for sure loose him forever and she could even risk her life to just have him to herself.

She walked away from him feeling his eyes on her making her conscious of herself. As she walked away she recalled all their past moments together.

He stood leaning next to a pillar, his eyes continuously following his angel wherever she moved around in the temple. He wanted to apologize to her. He really did. But he didn't know if she would even believe him now. He was lost in his thoughts when he heard a familiar voice.

NK: Hey Bro!

Arnav: Nk? Dude where have you been all this while?

NK: Being an Architect is a tough job Arnav!

Arnav: yeah yeah!

NK: anyhow, where's Harjaiji?

Arnav: It's Parjaiji!

NK: yes Parjaiji?

Arnav: She's right there. Khushi? He called for her. Khushi came close to them smiling and greeted NK.

Khushi: Hello! She said smiling.

NK: Hey!

Arnav: Khushi this is NK, my friend from London and NK this is my Khushi.

The 'my' caught Khushi's attention. Anjali came to them along with Payal.

Anjali: BTW Khushi, you should befriend NK immediately, after all he would be more of your in-law once you are in London then the rest of us. After all, Chhote stays more with NK then with us.

NK: Absolutely Di. Me and La!

Khushi: La?

NK: yeah! The three musketeers: Me, Arnav and La. I am sure La will too be very happy to meet you.

Khushi smiled warmly. What she didn't realize was that La was a GIRL!!!
