Did Swayam lie to Kria ?

What happened Between Sharon and Swayam in Kria's house we all know, right after that Swayam, God Knows for what reason, announced that he is not leaving the college.

And in yesterday's episode, we saw him telling Kria that it's because of her he dropped the idea of leaving the college. "Kria tumhari wajah se toh maine college nahi choda, tumne hi toh Footloose Eliminations kaise hoga bola tha" He said something in that line.

So, that made me think...Sharon put all the effort to stop Swayam , did that go to waste?? Is it really that Sharon's taunting Swayam didn't mean anything to him , or lets say didn't affect him in any which way, or is it that Swayam is lying to Kria just to convince her or force her to agree upon his idea of doing separate rehearsals? 😕
