Blast from the PAST

Ah ha. Hello to all the people. You must be wondering who I am and what do I have to do, let me tell you one thing. Without me there would be nothing interesting in this, I am the one who will make you crave for more, want more, as to who I am, you will get to know, what is the hurry??

Girl 1 -- so tell me what is new?

Girl 2 -- what new? You mean to say who is with whom, who broke up, who patched up, who is cheating, who is hiding?

Girl 1 -- well what more do you expect from the beloved Angel International?

Girl 2 -- relax, you will get to know soon. Have you checked your phone?

Girl 1 -- no

Girl 2 -- then it isn't time yet.

Both of the girls start laughing.

"Dia, Armaan, where are you?" a man yelled while in the kitchen.

"Dad, dad, why are you yelling in the morning," Armaan said while making his tie and coming towards the dining table.

"I...am...not...yelling," he said while turning towards him. "Where is your sister? It's her first day and she isn't even ready yet."

"Dad, chill," Armaan said while having his juice. "Princess Dia will be arriving shortly," he said in a sarcastic manner.

"I am here," Dia said, with a smile while entering.

"There is my baby girl," the man said while coming to her and kissing on her forehead.

"Dad," she said in an angry tone.

"Oh, sorry. Now come and have your breakfast, I don't want you to be late at the first day," he said while side-hugging her and taking her to the table.

"Thanks for coming Your Highness," Armaan said.

"Oh, shut up bhai," Dia said, irritated.

"Ahh, what was that young lady," their dad said, "he is your elder brother, watch your tongue."

"But he always starts it," Dia said in a complaining voice.

"Armaan," he said, "she is your younger sister and you should take care of her and not irritate her. And it is her first day; you better help her at school."

"Okay, fine." He said while making a face.

"Come, let's go," Armaan said, while finishing his breakfast and asking Dia to come with her, "Bye, dad."

"Bye dad," Dia said while taking her bag and going out.

"Bye," he said while taking their plates, "have a nice day."

"Imli...Imli!!!" says a girl all shouting, calling for her help.

A woman enters carrying a newly ironed dress comes inside. "Geet babyji, here."

Geet looks at her keenly and says, "What took you so long, you know I don't like being late."

"Sorry babyji," Imli says while looking down.

"Make sure this doesn't happen again," Geet says while brushing her hair.

Imli nodes and turns to go back out.

"Has Sid come yet?" Geet asked.

"No, babayji." Imli says and then leaves her room.

A guy comes out of the car while talking on his mobile.

"Dude, why are you behaving like this?"

The caller on the phone replies, "My dear boy, I am not, you are. Tell me why are you picking her up again?"

"Maan, you know very well. I love her."

Maan chuckles and says, "Hmm, Mr. Siddharta Singh Modi, I know you well and I know your little girlfriend also, so now tell me the real reason or do you want me to..." he left the sentence unfinished.

Sid let out a sigh knowing very well that his friend will tell what he has been dreading and said, "Well, it is the first day and she wants to go to school with me. She said something about making an impression and letting everyone know who is she and who we are."

Maan just laughs and says, "And as a dutiful boyfriend, you will be fulfilling her wishes."

"You know what, I love her and I will do anything for her." Sid then cuts the call angrily and goes towards the entrance of his girlfriend's house.

Maan looks at his mobile and says, "You keep telling yourself that."

At Geet's house:

She is getting irritated as he has not arrived yet, "Where is he?"

Just then the doorbell rang. Imli went to open the door.

"Is Geet ready?" the boy asked.

"Yes Sid sir, please come in," Imli said while giving him way to enter.

Geet came out of her room and saw her love in front of her. She went to him and kissed him on his both cheeks.

"Hey baby, where have you been? I was waiting for you for so long," she said while entangling her arm with him.

Sid looked at her, smiled and replied, "Sorry Geet, I got late and was busy talking with Maan."

"Whatever. Now that you are here, let's go. I don't want to be late."

Together they made their way out towards their school, Angel International.

At Angel International:

The whole school is buzzing. Everyone is back from the summer vacation and each one is showing the other what they did, for some, skiing in Europe, for some beaches in Hawaii, for some parties in Barcelona. Who would say that this is just High School? Well this in Angel International where the young and rich come to study, oh no, wrong word, to show off. They are the who's and who's, the younger generation of the powerhouses of India and many more countries.

Everyone is wondering where the hot couple is and why there are no new messages in their phone from their favourite friend.

Just as they were thinking, the hot couple of the school made their entrance.

Siddhartha Singh Modi and Geet Handa, hand in hand.

The golden boy of school, the perfect man with the most beautiful girl, the Golden couple.

Sid sees Maan eyeing him and excuses himself from Geet.

"Geet, I need to go. Maan is waiting. I will see you in lunch."

"Sure Sid," Geet replies. As soon as Sid goes, her two best friends make their way towards her, Sasha and Tasha.

"Hey Geet," both said in unison.

Geet greets them and asks, "So tell me what is the agenda for today?"

Sasha replies, "Well as you know this time we have to select a new member to our group, so we have to conduct the interviews today."

"Hmm, schedule them after lunch."

Just as she was replying, all the mobiles in the school buzzed, indicating a new message has come.

At T3 international terminal, Delhi

A girl wearing blue denims and brown pullover is seen from the back, with long black hair falling till her waist.

Host says, "Welcome back."

Girl, with no smile on her face, "Hmm."

Host says, "Ma'am car is waiting for you outside."

Girl, "Does anyone know?"

Host, "No ma'am, as you said, nobody was informed."

Girl, "Good."

The host bows down and takes her to the car waiting outside, while she puts back her glasses on.

The girl's picture is clicked and instantly everyone at the Angel International School receives message.

Everyone is surprised to see her picture and that too on the Delhi Airport. But not more than the person who thought she will be the first person to know about her return.

"Riddhima is back," Geet thought. "She is back from London."

Looks like someone is back; a blast from the past, or maybe the one who will again change everything. But only time will tell what will happen. Till then
