A Damsel in Distress & Her Knight in Shining Armor

IPK has come a long way since the day the fiesty KKG slipped and fell into the arms of the dark and brooding ASR.

Ever since they came into each other's lives, their encounters have been a kaleidoscope of different emotions...shock, bewilderment, anger, supposed hatred, attraction, passion, compassion and finally...love!

KKG though brave, courageous and headstrong has found herself in tricky situations...and turned into the damsel in distress...while in many of those very situations, ASR has become her knight in shining armor.

After seeing their passionate dance yesterday and those lovely flashbacks of their significant moments together, I recollected how KKG ends up in a pickle and how she comes out of it with her soulmate...always there for her.

Following are some of those very moments I have put together:

[Monsi] They just compliment each other.. what she is .. he is not.. and what he is.. she is not..

Parking Lot Rescue :Who can forget that magical night when we saw the first visible signs of ASR's attraction towards KKG?

Instructed by Arnav, Khushi goes to the parking lot of his office to direct and assist cars in parking.

Standing vulnerable, cold and shivering in the pouring rain Khushi fails to notice an oncoming car and ASR rushes to literally sweep her off her feet and out of harm's way! The subsequent rain hug is probably one of the best passionate scenes...in my opinion.

[Monsi] Actually this was the 1st episode when I started watching this show... So when I saw him saving her from the car .. my first reaction was .. there u go again.. same old situation.. hero saving heroine.. and heroine ko hero se pyar... dhaak ke teen paat .. 😃 But What kept me not changing the channel was the look on Arnav's face.. his stiffened reaction when she was clinging so close to him... he had that dark look on his face.. not a mushy or concerned look at all... but still he did not push her away immediately.. it was only when she squirmed in his grip.. he realized .. and pushed her... after that Khushi stood on her ground... refusing his offer of the jacket.. he blurting out harsh words... the whole scene made such impact on me... so i decided to continue watching the show and downloaded all previous episodes ... 😆 Till this point of time I did not know who Barun was.. I saw Sanaya couple of times in her other show.. and I never watched any show before and after DMG... but as I continued watching ... I fell in love with Barun 😳... and Sanaya.. and the story.. and Anjali (😲😲😲) 😆😆

Guest House Rescue: Again, on an angry ASR's instructions Khushi goes to a dilapidated guest house to prepare reports on it...of course, he is unaware of the building's bad condition and the fact that he actually sent her in harm's way...she gets trapped alone in the building and it begins to collapse, putting her in mortal danger.

As soon as ASR realizes the situation, he wastes no time in going and putting himself in danger, to rescue Khushi successfully, and carries her out in a grand style...

[Monsi] Ahh.. this one's my favourite.. you can see that in my siggy too😉... I simply love the scene when he pins her on the wall and looks so deeply into her eyes.. it was so intense..sparks flying all over... GH situation gave us the first glimpse of Arnav within ASR .. Arnav who cares... who has heart ... he did not go there because of love but because of humanity and guilt i suppose... he wud have done the same for any other employee too IMO... but when she faints in his arms.. he is lost in his beauty.. he goes in trance... he was attracted to her always.. but in his arms.. she seemed perfect.. she had that angelic serenity on her face which drew him much much closer to her...

Teej Rescue: A famished KKG feels dizzy and weak due to her fasting for the festival of Teej...she happens to be in the very same temple as ASR, who again, upon seeing her almost about to fall down the steps after fainting, rushes towards her like Usain Bolt (Olympics Gold Medalist in running), catches her hand, prevents her from falling and carries her to safety...and proceeds to revive her from her unconsciousness...

[Monsi] 2nd favourite... 😉 World's longest eye lock... but I loved it... she was all in her womanly glory.. he was all in his SUPERMAN-ly glory 😆 He sees her fainting and runs for her ... remember by now he was already haunted by her Chuppi ... again she cuddles in his arms perfectly... He gives her water.. and unknowingly binds himself with her... and he is not wrong.. she needs him everywhere.. he is her protector howmuchever cliche that sounds.. I just LOVE it 😳

Nainital Trip Fever and Goonda Rescue: An angry ASR leaves KKG in the outside room at night and himself goes to sleep in the other room, telling her to go away before he wakes up in the morning. But when he does wake up, he regrets his words and is filled with remorse when he sees her slumped in a chair, unconscious and running a high fever. ASR nurses her back to good health and takes care of her till she recovers. Later that same day when some goons attack them due to a misunderstanding, ASR bashes up the goons, and beats one of them to a pulp after he witnesses the goon hurt KKG...he loses his patience and temporarily his rationality seeing her in distress!

[Monsi] hmmm... by now they have already shared alot... have gone thru so much.. she saved him from his low sugar attack.. took care of Anji baby when her brace comes off.. he has all the feelings for her but LA the Bla is there .. total confusion leading to his annoyance.. and uspe Petrol Nikalne ka tadka by Khushi.. 😆 He does what best he knew.. but when came back to his senses.. realization hits him with full force... takes care of her... he cant see anyone else hurting her .. only he can do it.. so the gundas got a nice lesson there 😃 But Khushi always wants an answer ... she will never budge until he explains her whats and whys .. 😊

Shashi Babua's Hospital Treatment Bills Rescue: Finding herself unable to pay her sick father's hospital bills, a distressed KKG pulls at the heartstrings of ASR..his compassion and love immediately take over and he ends up paying all her bills...without even her asking for it.

[Monsi] This was such lovely moment.. few ppl did not like his putting his hand on her head... but i found it very very touching... this guy doesnt know how to deal with such emotions... but he showed from his small gesture that he is always by her side no matter what.. and she has no reason to feel alone or fight alone...

Diwali Night Ankle Rescue: When KKG twists her ankle, ASR the tycoon immediately transforms into an orthopedic doctor and immediately treats her ankle the right way...and also returns her long lost Payal.

Of course, this rescue ends in one of the most heartbreaking incident for KKG.

[Monsi] This was full on romantic.. heart warming .. later turned into heart breaking though.. even if she had twisted her ankle after the kiss-miss.. he would have still done the same... and he did that actually when he runs to the temple when she got a small cut on her finger... it wasnt a rescue per se.. but still his protective side is always gears up even if she is hurt a little bit 😍

Payash Wedding Dance Competition Rescue: Aah! This one is fresh...it happened only two days ago...and the full forum is still in its euphoria. KKG and ASR make a bet, that whoever loses in the music competition will do what the winner demands. Despite a minor hiccup on KKG's side, she manages to pull off a great performance and a firm step towards victory...but her progress is thwarted when her partner in the final deciding dance fails to show up. There stands KKG with distress and anxiety on her face. And of course, seeing her that way, Arnav forgets everything, but her happiness and her honor and steps up to take his side by her...to lead her in the most rapturous, passionate dance of emotions...and in turn to lead her to her victory (and actually his loss).

[Monsi] aha ha.. pyaar ki pehli pehli shuruaat.. finally they are in love.. and self confession on its way... he is a stalker now.. following her everywhere.. finding reasons to talk to her even if it is to irk her .. irritate her... he just wants to be close to her .. and cant see anyone getting closer to her... he never had any interest in this stupid bet i suppose. But he always loves when she fights back as she is the only one who can do that with him.. when he sees her distressed look.. he cannot sit back.. he has to make her happy.. cuz that's what's most important now...

He poured out his feelings in the dance.. Khushi's dhak dhak is back... Love is in the air... Mehendi going to show MISSING each other and all... wah wah wah... he he 😆

Besides this, there have been many teeny-tiny incidents of trip and catch...too many to enlist!

[Monsi] Will I ever get enough of those... I still LOVE LOVE LOVE the TFCs... 😆

While the feminist in me wonders why the headstrong, courageous and brave KKG ends up being a damsel in distress so many times and has to be rescued by no one else but the Knight in Shining Armor - ASR...

The romantic in me loves all those incidents and applauds the creatives for adding so much passion and romance...which are also pivotal in showing KKG the true nature of ASR...compassionate, caring, loving and selfless - all hidden below a facade of ruthlessness and stoicism.

There have been many instances through which ASR got glimpses of KKG's virtues - pureness of her heart, selflessness, dignity, self respect..

I will write them in a separate post, when time permits me 😃

Also I dont know if I digressed from the topic.. 😕 but I wrote what I felt in all these lovely moments in ArHi's life...

You have to write more yaar... humein apne vicharon se door rakhna .. sarasar na-insafi hai... mujhe INSAAF chahiye 😆

For a moment if we keep aside our differences and partiality to just one of the leads, we get to see a beautiful picture of how much they belong to each other and how incomplete they feel when they are apart.

As Somy said we need to persuade, blackmail, threaten, or whatever possible means, to get you to write more frequently. 😈 😈

I hope he keeps on saving her. This is what made the show it is (except for few weeks in between). Loving this living again feeling.
