I know I am contradicting myself here, but the important similarity I see between them is their loneliness. No one around them feels or knows how they feel within. Their thoughts, feelings and sadness is never shared with others but between themselves.

Kushi is very sensitive to others feelings inspire of that her sister is oblivious to her pain and her feelings and the happens to Arnav no one understands his feelings including his Di.

They are truly ek dil do Jaan. ❤️
