It was poignant, it was beautiful, it was sensual, it was romantic, it was passionate, and we all know it would be so..The Teri Meri dance sequence was sizzling to say the least, they literally burned the dance floor down..
I knew what to expect in this portion so I had braced myself for the onslaught of pure, unadulterated passion and romance..đł I was still left hyperventilating by the end of it..From the very first shot when the spotlight falls on Arnav and he looks at Khushi, it was pure magic! It started with him walking towards her with a serene smile, reassuring her that he always has her back and then a gentle query, "Tumhara akhri dance hai Khushi, poora nahin karogi?"..He was destined to be her knight in shining armour and tonight was no different, also, the last dance with her was, is, and will always be his right..As the opening notes of Teri Meri started I settled in to witness this magical moment and by the time it finished I was a little disappointed at how quickly it got over and I has started pacifying myself when the most beautiful portion of the episode crept up..
We all know about Teri Meri and had waited for it with baited breaths, what I didn't expect and wasn't ready for was the dance, or rather, the completion of a journey which accompanied the new and refined Rabba Ve..â¤ď¸This was the moment of the day for me, this was ArHi or rather Arnav completing his journey of discovering love in the most beautiful way..The flashbacks were beautifully interwoven with the various poses of their dance..Some portions which literally took my breath away were:
Maybe Arnav still doesn't know it but he has finally completed his journey of discovering and falling in love..Between the two of them, he is the one who is more aware, and he is the one who is closest to a realization..Today's episode shared a stark contrast with Diwali episode, the only other time when Arnav ruled over ASR completely..On diwali, he let his heart rule over his mind and instantly regretted his actions the moment he realizes how he had made himself vulnerable by baring his heart, his soul, to her..He loathed himself for losing control and blamed her for making him do so..But today was different, today Arnav and ASR were both in harmony..ASR wasn't caught off guard by Arnav's action on the stage, ASR was in agreement with the happening today, he actually approved..đ It was by mutual agreement between Arnav and ASR that Arnav was at the helm of things on the stage and ASR was in control off the stage..
Moving on, it was almost as if the Arnav and Khushi had switched roles from Diwali night..She was the one who was running this time, she was the one who is guarding her heart with vigour now..She refuses to acknowledge the effect this man has on her even though her own body is betraying her, her own escalating heartbeats (Yayy for the return of Dhak Dhak!!đ) is trying to let her know that fighting this feeling, fighting this love, fighting this sense of belonging is futile..But he is as cool as a cucumber, gone is the man who used to run away from the slightest hint of emotional connection..He bared his soul to her in that dance, his eyes hid nothing, they expressed his love, his care, and his concern, and he knows all this! Instead of being wary and putting up his defense shield, he shoots her yet another of those heartwarming
"Hello There Sweetheart" smiles!đ His heart is rejoicing because her reaction to his touches and caresses, the way she came alive under his skillful guidance, was proof of how much control he has over her, it was proof of how profoundly he affects her both physically and emotionally..His male pride was dancing with joy because her
"Faraq nahin padta" was all a lie, he knew it deep within but her body's reaction to him cemented the fact..This time its different than diwali night because now he knows what it feels like to almost lose her to another man, and he is not going to let the same happen again..He might not have come into terms with his feelings completely but that ain't stopping him from finding out whats in her heart!đł The roles have been switched people, and if the last scene is anything to go by then he is officially pursuing her now..He is going to pick up on that unfinished task of making her admit that "Faraq padta hai damn it!!"đ
One of the best episodes of IPKKND..And was it just me and did it look like along with Shyaam, Mami and Nani also have an inkling of the sparks flying between ArHi? Things are getting very interesting!

- The shot of Arnav letting go of Khushi's hand from the window of his office is juxtaposed with him pulling her up from a dip in the present..Such is the power of love, he who was her tormentor, who never left a stone unturned to torture her, humiliate her, is her saviour now..
