Shahrukh Khan seems to be more of a producer these days than an actor. That's because after Swades he has not signed any film officially as yet, but will be producing two films. The first obviously is Kaal co-produced by Karan Johar starring Ajay Devgan, John Abraham, Vivek Oberoi, Lara Dutta and Esha Deol. Amol Palekar will direct the second film and they have already signed Rani Mukherjee for the same.

Palekar's last directorial venture was the Marathi film Anaahat starring Sonali Bendre
