Aaand... the big day is here, officially! 😃

Wishing a very, very happy 14^th anniversary to our beloved CID, the longest running show on Indian Television which has thrilled all of us with its nail-biting, suspenseful stories, high-octane action sequences and the priceless, touching performances of the wonderful actors. 👏 👏 👏 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Just yesterday, I was going through my collection of old episodes' videos and briefly found myself in a spell of deep thought; when all those years back, as a starry-eyed twelve-year old watching "The Blind Witness" with my lachrymal glands getting a solid workout at the sight of ACP sir's plight and his valiant efforts to fight for justice and righteousness despite his own appalling anguish, could I have ever imagined that this show would become such a colossal part of my life several years later when I was in college, and I would continue to be touched in the same way by the breathtaking performances of our gifted actors every weekend?

Ah, how the sands of time shift. Team members entered and left, the stories seemed to oscillate in terms of variety and quality faster than a haywire pendulum as each "era" passed, and yet our love and respect for the veteran actors only increased more and more. It's a truly inspiring experience to know how they give their absolute best for every single shot and take, regardless of what the framework of the script is like. Not to mention the vast knowledge I gained at the same time; from forensic science and technology to values like valiance, loyalty, friendship and perseverance. No longer is this just a show for me; it is an extension of my heart and soul, a part of the essence of my very being.

The entire cast and crew - especially B.P Singh sir, Shivaji sir, Aditya sir, Daya sir, Dinesh sir, Narendra sir and Vivek - deserve a monumental standing ovation for this mammoth, triumphant achievement, as does the loyal fanbase who have been with them through all these years. My best wishes and heartiest congratulations to them all ' our present team members (ACP Pradyuman, Abhijeet, Daya, Fredericks, Dr. Salunkhe, Vivek, Purvi, Kajal, Sachin, Nikhil and Dr. Tarika), the ex-team members, the supporting actors, directors, writers, producers and technicians, everybody who has ever contributed positively to our show; I'm truly proud and honoured to be a part of this splendid CIDian fraternity. May God bless our show and team and help them overcome all obstacles, gain yet another myriad of glorious achievements and continue foster the wonderful relationship with us all for innumerable years to come! 😃
