Hi GuysI am a bit confused😕😕😕😕😕😕😕. I just want to know who wanted the divorce first. As far as I can remember it was Brahmanand who sent the divorce paper at first , through courier. Uttara was about to receive when Devyani came in and said that she is Mrs Devyani Jhakar and signed the documents. Later it was shown that the envelope contained divorce papers. Priya told Devyani that Brhmanand was just trying to frighten her as he does not want the divorce but only to get Devyani to plead for forgivness. It was Mr Jhakar senior [Babuji] who supported Devyani and told her to get the truth out appoint a lawyer.Devyani was still reluctant but after the 'karva chauth' incident she started looking for the lawyer ; again which was in vain. It was Shubhankar with Priya's help came to the rescue.Then why aren't cvs showing this? Why is no one bringing that divorce paper in court as evidence that it was Brahmanand who initiated the divorce ? We are all made fools 'cos we all know that it was Brahmanand who filed the divorce and then tried to prevent all lawyers from fighting the case for Devyani. Even Shubhankar knows this as Brahmanand's chamcha Inspector Verma also went to meet him and tried to bribe him into fighting his case by dropping all other cases.They have all forgotten what they showed us before but we are not gullibes to forget all those easily .Another thing shown in today's episode was that Devyani knew about Priya's molestation before the marriage and that it was her who have requested Priya to hide it from Adi for the dignity of her family and respect. At this time Priya had hatred for all the police department. She knew she will be protected with Devyani and the family as she had no inkling idea that Brahmanand was the dad. ONLY BRAHMANAND KNEW THAT PRIYA WAS THE SAME GIRL WHOM HE HAD MOLESTED AND HAD ACCUSED HER OF PROSTITUTION.BUT HAVE THE CVS FORGOTTEN THAT PRIYA HAD NO IDEA WHO BRAHMANAND WAS AS SOMEONE ELSE MET PRIYA AS ADI'S DAD. PRIYA ONLY CAME TO KNOW THE REAL ADI'S DAD AFTER HER MARRIAGE AND ON ' MUOO DEEKAYEE'.
It was here at Jhakar niwas Devyani overheard Brahmanand and Priya's confrontation and threats.

BUT YES IAM VERY HAPPY WITH THE EXTENSION.

Didn't BJ backtrack and tell Deviyani he wanted to call off the divorce? It was then Deviyani refused to back down and shocked him by saying she's going for the divorce and there was no turning back now.

At one point early in the show right after Adi/Priya marriage, Deviyani did tell Priya not to tell Adi the truth as it would devastate him and also for the greater good of the family name and honor.

Now everyone in town who gives a care knows the DIG and his Mrs. are in divorce court. The family name is now tarnished publicly, so what's Deviyani's reasons for still wanting to hide the truth that's been infesting the family from the inside that started 30 years ago? Her kids were young back then, they are married adults now and can take care of themselves. It's as if she doesn't want Adi to ever grow up and be a MAN. Even the patriarch of the family wants her to blow it all sky high and let the chips fall where they may, he is sick of his son's gatiya behavior over the years that's he's watched silently from the sidelines..

Can't blame her though, Deviyani has been an enabler and hiding behind her fears all these years. Her sons are now married and she has a support system and her sasurji to stand by her, yet old patterns of behavior are inground and not easy to change.

Uttara, in court told the truth about her affair with BJ publicly yet she was mute when Adi asked her. She is the weakest link that has managed to snap the weak chains that link this family. She is watching the fallout and doesn't have the courage to stand up and do the right thing.

Granted she is terrified for Tara's wellbeing after BJ's threats, but does she even comprehend that this is the same man who tossing her aside like yesterday's trash one minute and uses her the next minute to cover his tracks and she's just being putty in his hands? What kind of love is that? It's raw neediness. She'll settle for any man who gives her a little bit of attention stemming from her low self-esteem.

Deviyani made a fatal error in judgment for the well being of her family when she brought her sister back home even after she suspected her husband was having an affair with her little sister. Truth has a way of outing itself. She could have saved herself all this public spectacle and grief earlier on...but then the show would be several episodes short.😃

What you're saying is true. Why not bring that up in court? So what if Brahma backtracked? First question Brahma about what he believes about the so called "affair," and then bring out the original divorce papers. If they (or we) are lucky, Brahma's timeline wouldn't add up if he says the divorce is solely because of Devyani-Shubh affair.
