Ahem knew that he had left Gopi while she was in mid sentence speaking to him up on the terrace. The situation was so intense that he had to leave to think for a while. He knew what the repercussions would be with his mum and he set out to ensure that his wife was ok.

He looked on from a distance as his mum lambasted Rashi. He knew what the real reason for his mum's uncontrollable spate of verbal diarrhoea was but used this as an excuse to talk to Gopi privately. He was careful in how he broached and executed the topic of getting her for himself as his mum was sharply alert for anything and was ready to pounce on anybody.

He was glad to have Gopi alone with him and to find out what the kitchen talk was all about. In what could go down as the longest dialogue by Gopi to Ahem, he gave her his full attention and removed the burden from her. Yet he claimed that his mum was not at fault either. So was it anyones fault?

When she apologised he quickly cleared her conscience by giving her the answer that would make her feel better. He wanted to free her mind worrying about anything and everything. He was facing her and was just an arms length away from her while they were talking. This tells that Ahem is making every attempt to close the gap with her in every way possible.

It pleased him immensely to see her finally smiling when they watched on their achievement in bringing Jigar and Rashi closer. He used this as a cue to tell her 'let'sgo'.

Ahem has taken the lead in their relationship. He enjoys knowing that she is just a step behind him. He has taken the lead in the future family household. He is gradually aligning Gopi to grow into her role as the elder bahu. He is slowing working on reducing Gopi's dependence on Rashi by not accepting any challenge from Rashi through his stern look at her. All in all, he is quite a smart thinking man.

Things to note in today's Ahem and love:

1. Making opportunities to be privately with his wife.

Hey Swasthi, absolutely perfect analysis. This is what I love about your post and look forward to them, you give us the best of the show without recaping the whole episode, it makes us want to watch and look for these little change in Ahem.

I did get to watch the show today, and I loved all the Gohem interactions.

Ahem has come a long way from saying illiteracy breeds blind beliefs to I am not the type of a person who would enjoy a victory at expenses of hurting a bird. In the past I would have thought he didn't care to lose at anything but Ahem is deeper than we all knew.

I like the way he is showing her right from wrong. He listented to her patiently and when she said it wasn't Rashi's fault. he immediately came back with it's not mom's fault either. He went further and used the same words that Koki had used earlier and said Mom feels it is better to let the birds fly freely in the open air. When he noticed her worried expression he was quick to assure her that they would come up with a solution and she does not need to worry. As I mentioned earlier these days he is quick to notice her worries and offer soulutions to see her sweet smile.

Another point to note was when he told RaJi they would have to let the bird go soon as it healed, Rashi started to protest but one look from him stopped all her protests, I liked the fact that Gopi witnessed this so in the future when he tries to explain or show her why Rashi is wrong, she will have a better understanding of where he is coming from also.

I say Bravo Ahemji, you have finally started to learn how to balnce between mom and wife and also to show wife it is always not right to side with her sister.

If he is learning to balance between Koki and Gopi, in turn he is showing her how to balance between Koki and Rashi and also show her there are two sides to a story always.

Hope they give us a fabulous scene to end our week on a good note and also for our Friday night celebration drink.

happy happy...joy joy😃 Nice to see Ahem doing everything one step at a time and not just jumping eyes closed. He is smart enough to know Gope needs to be molded into her own character before she can really tell him she loves him and vice versa😳

I agree Swasthi...he cleverly played his cards to ensure they have their own time together...anything which worries her he ensured he took it out of her reach & took it on to himself to ensure she is in peace...

He comes across as a good to heart person who cares for his wife & her feelings...as well as for the others in the family...I felt he did look longingly at Gopi after the acknowledgement hoping that they also become as comfortable as the couple in front of them...

The metamorphisis is happening earlier he would not have concerened himself with kitchen fireworks. If his mum was angry with Gopi he would have pounced on her saying she upset his mother, since it was Raashi he would not have paid heed. Now he not ony paid attention also made it his business by getting Gopi's version...wow he actually made time for her version

So yes Swasthi Ahem and love are making than slow if not very slow journey to realisation thanks for your insightful post

Superb analysis swasthi...yeah, aham know really how to play cards and look at how well he managed to distract his mum kokila and also supported his wife...He was simply awesome...He is slowly taking the husband's role without realising what he is doing.And i think that itself is a big achievement as we all know how was aham's nature before...

I look forward to our Friday night drink too. There is much to celebrate this week - he is conscientiously working on his relationship with Gopi through spending time with her and assuring her. Hope tomorrow brings them closer further.

ahemji and making opportunities...😉...he knows how to get her to himself..with koki's acceptance...loved him...knows both the women and how to please them too...with gopi he has a long way to go...
