I find this thread very refreshing. It is obvious, we have people who are much more enlightened that our Bhaboo. But in a story like this, set in Rajastan, where a Halwayee has built an empire of sorts, a laorge house, had the sense to send two of the children to college, even though the youngest girl has flopped, Mohit is interested in computers, and has been backed up by Sandhya who now wants him to confess and come in the open.

You will see how the younger generation, will not only come out triumphant, but also bring along their parents into this modern world. Positive and enlightened comments from the members will help the CVs too to look afresh at their own work. Hope all of us will move to a better world this year.

Well said. I was educated in Rajasthan so I know it well and in my view is one of the most beautiful places and culture in the world. The people are one of the most hospitable, generous, kind and caring with impeccable manners. It is also very Indian and traditional which all so enriching. I have not come across any Rajathani woman like Bhahbo.Which is which is why I find it more difficult to accept what they are showing.

Meena beendni can legally do anything anytime she can't be as much harmful as an educated beendni can be😳that's why she constantly ignore Meena beendni or better say she has provided her the permit to do anything😆.Bhabo wasn't that much adamant and blindfolded by her " fear" she had the quality of identifying a person she did so in case of Meena and even Sandhya but now how can she ignore all the evident facts just because she is afraid of her educated DIL most of the illiterate ladies(illiterate doesn't means..) might be just replica of bhabo, they might think educated DIL can cleverly rule but here who is ruling? Now Bhabo's fear will be proved wrong and that will be a great social message. Also for those who think DIL should any remain in confines of home and perform her duties there.she shouldn't work outside or its almost impossible for her to manage everything and that also without having any kind of superiority complex, that's how they think and this kind of thinking should change..

@Avidfan - I appreciated your point of view. My cousin too who has traveled all over India, lately told me, that girls from UP and Rajastan, have scored high in the universities. I think, we should have progressive writers in our country, who are aware of social transformation that is needed, so that all can have a piece of the cake of progress.

I regard the talent of our actors and actresses, very highly. The quality of their work, and the way the respond to the direction is great. The same person may fare differently in different serials since, the difference is not in what the actor offers, but the wanting in the talent of directors, and other crew. The writer is the guiltiest element, who does not perform well. If you make a comparative study of the way the shots are taken, in Sapno Se bhare Naina, Dia aur Baati, and Na Bole Tum, you will know what I mean, and then compare this with the other so called popular serials. The reason is the audience, the profit minded channel managers, and our inclination to succumb to pressure of money and muscle. The last serial has just started on Colors, and the writer is Venita Coelho, who is also the current creative head of Endemol. If we get writers like this, and the pool of good writers widens, then we have the jackpot. Our nation can compete with the International set.

@firefly99 - your observations too are good. We should have more positive comments like yours, which means, educated people should participate in the interaction on the Forum. Thank you for your participation.

I am just a welt-wisher of good cinema in our Country.
