I know you are sad at the premature end of SSBN. Star Plus says, it depends on TRP.
In a country, where major scams have been exposed, is it a big thing to filter TRPs and give ranks to certain pet shows, who have powerful patrons?
Think for yourselves, and your sense of judgement. You like SSBN, but how many of you consider those serials with higher ranks, according to your personal sense of quality. So why is it ?
I have given up looking to the TRP charts, or the Chaska Meter. The variables on which they are based need not be indicators of a good show.,
If people do not know to value, good workmanship, good acting, good story line, etc, and we are forever in a quandary in our politics, how can we say we have matured, and are a nation to be counted ?
Even Channels are there to make a profit, and they too will get pressurized by powerful lobbies, and who knows what power politics go in their organizations.?
Did you notice, when an interview is sought from the people who can make a difference, they are not available. When you interview an actor, they have no comments, or are vague. What could be the reason ? Are they bound by some contract, which they do not want to break ?
