Time and again, the Indians have proved how naive they could be and trust complete strangers at the drop of hat. That they are so gullible as a race ... No doubt, this trait of ours have made us seen numerous foriegn invasions and country slipping into the hands of foreigners..
This Dadda was no exception.. He easily trusted Hukmaan despite a strong evidence ( arabic dagger) against him and his trusted General Puru too doubting hukman's credibility .He should have been very cautious after that attack on the banks of narmada but no.. Like what still happens in todays India "chalta hai.. We will see later .It was just random thing. It does not affect us anymore " attitude, he too responded in the same way. His complacency cost him Puru, his very loyal, trustworthy, savior of the clan General.
