SEPARATION

Both missed each other but at times ego becomes too large and blocks ur true feelings. They waited eagerly for the other to call. Each tried to keep their mind engaged in work to forget missing.

Geet overworked herself and maan was too tough for sasha to handle. He never talked always busy in work even back home and never got swayed by her chit chats.

Days passed and it was 2 months for maan gone to london. Geet was finishing off with her training. Few more days and she wud be relieved of office and will settle for her viva based on her training and end of her MBA.

Geet went to Khurana office one of the days to catch up on IE. It was late preparing for the next event and she felt weak and fainted. Everyone panicked and rushed to a doc. She announced geet to be 10 weeks pregnant after check up. The news spread like wild fire in the office. adi and pinky didn't interfere to stop the gossip as they wanted maan to handle it. There interference in his private life may not be approved by him.

Daadi was extremely happy and soon came alongwith NT and Dev to the hospital. Doc kept geet overnight for observation as she was too week for pregnancy. Geet was anaemic and too stressed but the news made her extremely happy.

Dev ' dnt u think we shud inform bro.

NT ' but geet wud like to do it.

Geet smiled. She tried calling him when everyone left. Maan was busy in a meeting so sasha took his phone outside and didn't receive it. She had info from tasha about geet's pregnancy and rumor that it must be maan's. she told maan that it was call from office which she has dealt with.

Next day daadi enquired about maan's reaction. NT was super excited to know maan's reacton.

Actually kal baat nahi hua.

Dev ' ok lets call him now.

That day maan was missing geet badly and he drank miserably. To add to it sasha added a few lines from her side telling how well things are going at office. geet is handling IE very well alongwith Karan. She praised her in a sarcastic way telling about her rapo with Karan.

I love her and not a word about her. he slurred in his drunk state.

MK u may love her but she is interested in Karan. This is so obvious. The whole office runs with their romance gossip, how well they glue together. Dnt u think they seem perfect for each other. As it is mk u r never interested in girls like her. so move on. She doesn't care for u. see she didn't even apply for training under u. all the girls run to u but she loves him thats y even after having a option to work with u she chose karan.

Not a word I said and he stumbled into his room and crashed into bed.

Maan's phone rang in the hall and sasha received it.

NT ' now we all will listen when u will tell veerji. This ur punishment as u didn't tell him.

Daadi ' tumlog badmaashi kar rahe ho.

NT ' ok only option is u can tell veerji that speaker is on.

Dev called maan from his mobile and waited for him to receive.

Geet gulped in she looked at daadi who had a disapproving look on her face. geet tried to fasten it.

Sasha maan ko phone do.

Ok I will try. She smiled as she had already set the stage.

She entered maan's room and saw him sleeping. She kept a pillow near his ear and said on the phone.

Mk geet ka phone hai. She wants to talk to u.she removed the pillow. Mk geet..

Not a word. Mujhe geet k baarein mein ek shabd nahi sunana hai. He mumbled in his sleep.

Tears started to fill in geet's eyes.

She came out and told her. geet agar tum maan ko apni pregnancy k baare baatana chahti ho to he knows. Office mein kaafi log hai baatane ko. he is upset about it.

Agar unko malum hota to he wud have called me. give him the phone.

Itna confidence. Chalo mein fir se try karti hu but dnt think he wants to talk to u.

She entered his room.

I told u no geet. he wasn't liking her talking all sorts of things about geet. Maan lost his temper and dragged sasha out of his room.

Mk u r hurting me. sasha squealed.

Mk it pains she purpusfully said on the phone.

He threw her out and closed the door. Sasha got what she wanted. A perfect opportunity.

In the silence of the hall she spoke what she wanted geet to hear.

Maan let me atleast cut the phone.

Geet will listen. Plzz stop this.

I need to cut.

Dev cut the phone before she said more.

Daadi ' I will talk to maan. This is no way. I just dnt like this sasha.

Daadi y r u believing sasha. And talking to him on phone wudnt be right. It is a matter of 15 days and he will be here. I will talk to him. waise bhi aap kahti hai na ki husband wife aapas mein problem solve karein to better hai. Let him come I will talk to him. itna bharosa hai mujhe apne rishtey par.

Geet waited for his return. As sasha planned her next move to ruin the relation completely. Each day she tried to be happy for the baby but somewhere deep her heart ached and sadness was visible in her eyes. This stress was working over her and making her weak. She lost weight instead of gaining.

The Last Act.

Sasha played her trumph card on the day they were to reach Delhi. She had got some photos taken in such manner that showed maan and sasha close. Like one in coffee shop where they were discussing over some file. the photo was taken so that the table and file werent there and it seemed they were leaning onto each other. Some more photos of this type. She got in touch with one of her friends working in a newspaper and got it printed as maan singh khurana getting cozy with his employee' is it the new budding romance''.

The news irked maan and he was angry as soon as he reached Delhi. He straight away went to office. he was sorting things out when sasha came to his room.

She apologised and stated how embarrased she is feeling with the news. She faked crying and stated that her family will react. She stated how sad she is with all this rumor.

It hardly matters to me sasha.

I dnt know how I will explain this to my family. Sir how will daadi ma means savitri madam react?

U dnt need to worry about my family. I dnt need to clarify to anyone and noone in my family needs it and wudnt ask. They trust me. u better handle ur family.

He walked out of the room to the main office in the hall.

Meanwhile geet rushed to office to meet him. she didn't want anyone in office to mention about her pregnancy to him. she wanted to be the first one to tell him. she had an inner believe that maan didn't know about this. She thot any type of gossip may spoil his mood and knowing about their baby by anyone else wudnt be appreciated by him. she walked into the hall and pinky beemed a smile at her.

Geet tum? Yahan? Hhhmm sir k aate hi tum office aa gayi. pinky blaabered thru her mouth filled with a burger.

Haan. Mujhe maan se milna hai vo kahan hai?

Vo apne cabin mein hai.

The news paper on the reception desk caught her attention. She hadnt seen this news. She started reading it there only.

Meine ye subh dekha hi nahi.

Chor na geet ye to jhooti gossip hai.

I know its gossip but atleast parh to sakti hu.

Just then maan entered the hall.

Geet, maan sir. Maan sir aa gae.

Geet just folded the paper in her hand and went behind him as he was moving in opposite direction.

He turned after listening to her voice. It was so soothing to hear this after so many days.

Mujhe aapse baat karni hai'.kuch puchna.. nahi baatana hai.. she was fumbling with just the thot how to reveal the truth.

She nervously looked around.

Mein kah rahi thi.. she frantically moved her hand and maan caught site of the newspaper in her hand. His expression changed, he thot she is here to confront and question him about it. He crossed his hands across his chest and looked sternly at her.

Vo kuch personal hai..

Geet this is a proffessional place. no personal talks.

He turned to walk away. It took her by surprise. It was a rude shock for her and she lost all her patience.

Maan proffesional matlab'' mujhe aapse baat karni hai.

Geet felt a pang of weakness. She felt like fainting. Everyone in office was looking at them. Tear burned in her eyes she stumbled. Karan had come there and seeing geet loose her balance rushed to hold her. he supported her and helped her stand.

Maan turned by the noise of newspaper falling and geet being held by karan.

He lost his temper. He raised his hand to hit Karan.

Maan' geet stopped him.. kya kar rahe hai?

Geet??

Aap jaante hai yahan kya hua? Nahi naa.. to

Mujhe jaanana bhi nahi hai.

Maan listen to geet' u r not getting it right.

Dnt interfere.

Maan problem kya hai?

geet was shocked she cudnt believe maan asked her to leave... he had already insulted her infront of the staff connecting her with karan...she was nervous what everyone wud think of her pregnancy... geet snapped her hand from karan. Geet turned and left hurriedly. Maan looked at everyone staring at them.

Back to work. mera muh dekhne kliye office nahi aate aaplog. Back to ur seats.

Geet went back home tired and lost. She just cudnt understand maan's behaviour. she was stunned by his reaction and temper.

On the other hand maan was surprised that geet didn't trust him. she came to office and was questioning him publicly about his character. How can she question his integrity. And that too when he never did hers'. He believed her and helped her even when they werent close. And now when she knew all about him, they loved each other y didn't she just believe him and waited for him to return.

Sasha was the only one beaming from within.things had turned out better than she had expected. Everyone was surprised seeing maan's sudden outburst and geet's plight.

Maan lost his temper and scolded the staff for every small thing. He left very late. Maan didn't go home that day. Geet's reaction had shook him from within. He went to his farm house and stayed there that night.

Geet was very sad and looked pale.

Daadi was waiting for them to sort out as geet had already asked that she wanted to deal it her way. She liked her belief in the relation both shared. But wasn't able to estimate the damage both their ego were creating.

It was third day that maan didn't come home.

when he didnt return she knew what she must do...Geet left home the morning. She left the papers in maan's cupboard in an envelope alongwith the bangles of her mother in law maan had given her.

i think im clearing many doubts about the divorce and the fight. some portion is a repeat from part 12. my angel is awake now. bye for now. will see when i can update next.
