The growth of Udayveer's character

Ok, I love Uday, and until recent episodes I've loved the way he's been portrayed by Ashish.But now, its time for the story to progress and it isn't! And UV's eagerness to be with Maunya despite her hateful behaviour towards him is coming off as shallow and desperate.

Is he THAT desperate for power ? Like J said the other day... he would marry a tree if it meant he would be getting something out of it. I find that really discusting and dumb.

UV's character obviously has to have grey shades, but his attitude towards Maunya despite being abused by her physically and mentally isn't attractive to me as a viewer.

What really confuses me is the relationship he shares with J. J doesn't like M and UV is only pretending to care about her (M) because he wants to one day marry her and attain the D estate, so why does he act like he actually cares infront of J? Is he trying to make her jealous ? I really dont like the idea of a love triangle involving sisters partially maybe because I have one and the thought is just 🤢 lol😆

So what I'm getting to here is, yes UV and M have amazing chemistry, but UV as an individual person isn't progressing the way I would find appealing, he just comes off as shallow. Hopefully the CV's do justice to this character in the upcoming episodes.

I re-watched the episodes from the beginning and I believe that UV has always loved Manyata. There was an episode with the Queen and him, looking at old pictures of Manya and him. It was in this episode that we see a glimpse on his feelings towards her. When he said to Manya that he has been waiting 16 years, he is has been. When he was being forced to get engaged to J, you see he is in a dilema because I think deep down he always wanted and knew Manya would return to him.

Definitely, would be nice for both of them to realize they are made for each other sooner rather than later. But both characters need to grow up in every respect. They both have so much to learn from each other. Both compliment each other in every respect. When they do get together it will be worth the wait.
