Except, some might say, for Nargis Fakhri, who was pilloried by the critics. To her credit though, she has still managed to strike, and strike big.

The buzz is that Nargis is being wooed by Nikhil Advani for his next film with Arjun Rampal. "The casting is on currently, and Arjun is the only actor who has been confirmed. The makers are keen on casting Nargis though, and they have even met a few times. But the deal is yet to be sealed officially," our source says.

Not only is Nikhil keen on having Nargis, even Arjun, it seems, has put his weight behind her. Apparently, Arjun is confident of the Czech model's ability to do justice to the film.

And that's not all. She has also been in talks with a few more filmmakers, and before long, we should be seeing her in many more blockbusters. "Nargis has got a few good offers and she is in talks with some big filmmakers, though the details will be shared only after she has signed on the dotted line," says her close associate.

Nihkil's film could be a big career move for Nargis. Though he hasn't tasted big success, he's among the more talented filmmakers, and his films usually feature a big starcast too.
