Amitabh Bachchan wins hands down as best on-screen father

Rakshanda Khan

I have never celebrated Father's Day or Mother's Day in my life. One thing that I always remember about my father is that he taught me maths. I was terrible at it just like my mother. During exams I knew I could go to my mother for all subjects, except maths. Since my father was a genius, I would ask him to teach me.

My father is a very patient person. He would answer all the queries and remain composed even if I asked the same question 100 times. He never lost his cool. He is capable of handling any situation calmly and I always wish I had inherited that quality from him. He does not like to receive many presents. I had gifted him a watch 10 years back and he still uses it. He loves chocolates and I always get him loads of chocolates whenever I go abroad. I think Kabir Bedi is the most suave and good looking on-screen father.

Hiten Tejwani

I never celebrated Father's Day during my childhood. My father was very strict as far as studies were concerned. He would make me sit and do my homework every evening. I respect him a lot.

Every year, I buy my father some gifts and he cherishes even the smallest thing that I have given him. I have not planned anything special for this Father's Day. After I decide what to do I will make the day special for him. My favourite on-screen father is none other than Amitabh Bachchan.

Manish Goel

I think the best thing that my father gave me was to let me move to Mumbai, even though we have our own family business to look after in Delhi. The decision of parting from your son is most difficult for parents and I can't tell you how it feels now that I too am a father.

After becoming a father I definitely view the world from a different perspective all together. Everything now revolves around Arya, my son, be it shopping or renovating our house. I am doing something very special for Arya. I am writing a diary for him. It's my way of communicating with my son.
