why are forums locked?

Hi

question for mods
why are some forums locked?
i visit srgmp forum regulary but it is now locked and you are not able to post new topics.
can this be rectified asap plz ?

if the show/serial got air off and the forum isn't active anymore...I think Dev team lock it😊
