We reached Hoshiarpur at afternoon on the wedding day. Geet came on previous night.

Geet's mother greeted us..

"where is Geet?" my mom asked my question..

"taking beauty sleep... sleeping is her hobby.." both of the women laughed.. after a few moments mom joined the women gossiping club.. and I came to my room to rest.. I was trying to sleep.. but can't as mom kept calling me saying "Maan came down.. meet Geet's buaji.. Maan came down and meet Geet's mamaji' Maan cam down. Meet Geet's etc etc etc'"..

God can't they understand I want to meet Geet not her mamaji, chachaji, buaji..😡

I joined the wedding ceremony on the evening... most of the people were there except her' I was being impatient.. I noticed my mom were chatting with other ladies in a corner.. I made my way to them..

I was a few steps away from them I heard my mom asking where is Geet..

"where else. Being ready.. she at least needs two hours to get ready.. Geet and Pari these two girls are making us crazy.. see.. it's a family occasion and they are still not here.. and daarji prohibited everyone to shout on them as they are the only two daughters of our entire family.. and most of all they won't even care if we say them anything.. let me call her.." Geet's mom said in a breath and called her'

Well I know now what I wanted to know.. I don't need to join them now.. God knows what the hell girls do with their dresses and hair.. it is the universal truth.. women are impossible to understand'

"there she is.." I followed my mom's direction to the stairs'

She was standing upstairs wearing a pink dress..

I never saw her in traditional Punjabi attire.. trust me I was drooling shamelessly.. 😳

She made her way towards me' "so how am I looking?"

"hmm.. not bad.." I smiled..

"not bad??" she raised her eyebrows..

"ok.. good.."

"ok.. you are looking wonderful.." we both laughed..😆

"lets meet your would be in laws.." she pulled my hand..

We were together in the whole ceremony.. we danced together.. we played pranks on groom's friends together.. and we ate together'😛

At night when I returned to my room I don't know why I was getting the feeling I have forget something.. but what??

"Maan.." Louis shouted entering the room..

Louis.. I totally forget I was going to share this room with him tonight..

"Louis where were you? I was searching for you'."

Don't know when I slept.. next morning I woke up when Louis called me' it was only 9 am.

"what Louis?? Let me sleep'" I rubbed and opened my eyes' he was packing his bags'

"why are you packing your stuffs??" I sat on the bed.

"I'm going back.."

"To Delhi'" I yawned. "wait a few hours.. we are going in evening'"

"I'm going back to Paris.. my flight in taking off from Amritsar airport at 12.. "

"what?why?when? You have leave of 3 weeks.. it's hardly a few days.."😕

Geet and Pari were sitting with us at airport waiting lounge' I was fuming.. he should stay with me here in my confusing state.. but what a best friend I've got..

Great..now he is being innocent.. if it was not airport and Geet was not with me I would have killed him..

He cut me in middle of my sentence..

"aide-moi chaque problme? Vous tes celui qui met toujours moi dans problme." [help me in every problem? you are the one who always puts me into problem.] he said in a breath.. don't believe him.. it was a sheer lie.. he is the one who always puts me into problems..

"Je vous ai toujours aid dans vos problmes copines".. [i always helped you in your girlfriends problems]🤔

"et je vous aid cette nuit .. encore vos parents ne savent pas comment l'avez-vous perdre .." [and i helped you that night.. still your parents don't know how did you loose it..]😉

"tes-vous chanter moi de dire mes parents, comment ai-je perdre ma virginit?" [are you blackmailing me to tell my parents how did I loose my virginity?]😡

Wait a minute.. who said this?? She said it in French!!.. I turned back and saw Geet chuckling looking at me..

GEET??? She knows French?? That means she knows everything I said to Louis😕.. Geet knows French!!!!!!😲
