Milan ki Raat (The New Version)

Long back I posted Milan ki raat. Now I dare to attempt the same with ArMan in their 50's. The situation is : the children and DK have made ArMan reunite again. They have arranged a nice hotel room for their long awaited 'Milan', Sulochana and savita are not at all happy, since it is against Sulo's sanskar and Savita's ego.

The scene: Archana is dressed like a dulhan and seated on the bed.

Manav ' (comes and closes the door) aaja re aa zara..lehra ke aa zara..aankhon e dil mein sama..chalo aao meri baahon mein sama jao..bujha do 18 saal ki pyaas..come on..make it fast

Archana- itne utawale kyun hote ho..puri raat padi hai.. pehle nazrein to milao

Manav- chashmo ke sath ki chashmein utar ke?

Archana-jaisa tumhe theek lage

Manav-par chasme rahenge ko kiss thodi na theek se ho payegi !!!

Archana- chhi gande..main nazrein milane ki baat kar rahi hun..honth nahi ..distance maintain kar ke nazrein milao..wohi pavitrata kehlati hai

Manav- jitney din hum sath the mostly nazrein hi to mila rahe the..jab jab galati se kuch aur mil gaye to bachhe paida ho gaye 😆

Archana- offo..bade gande ho gaye aap to Canada mein reh ke

Manav-itna paisa kharcha karke bachhon ne hamen yahan eye lock karne ko bheja hai kya? Tum baithi raho idhar main jata hun.. 😆

Archana- nahiii''..main mar kyun nahi gayi yeh sunne se pehle..

Manav- tabhi zinda hun meri jaan 😆

Archana- aap to aise keh rahe ho jaise maine aap ko kabhi sukh diya hi nahi

Manav- are diya hai bahut diya hai tum ne..itna diya ki mujh se sambhala nahi gaya ur main Canada bhag gaya..😆 ab ro mat meri jaan'

Archana- (crying) jao main aap se baat nahi karti..

(Manav takes the opportunity and hug Archana)

Archana- ji karta hai aap ke seene se lipat ke aisi roti rahun

Manav- mera jee karta hai..lipat ke rone ke alawa kuch aur karun 😆

Archana- chhi gande

(Suddenly phone rings. Manav picks)

Manav- Hello itni raat ko phone kar raha hai

Sulochana- main sulochana

Manav- yes tell me..neend nahi aa rahi hai to sleeping pills bhijwa dun?

Sulochana- (gussa ho ke) manav main sulochana aai bol rahi hun..archu ko phone do

(manav makes the loud speaker on)

Archana- hello aai

Sulochana- tu kahan hai ?

Archana-****** 😆

Sulochana-nahiii

Manav-kaash meri aisi kismat hoti 😆

Archana-chup karo Manav. Main manav ke sath room mein hun

Sulochana-beta apni pavitrata ka khayal rakhna..tujhe teri aai ke chand safed baalon ki kasam 😆

Manav-archana phone rakho na..ab mujh se raha nahi jata

Sulochana-nahiii..

(manav disconnects the phone)

Manav- chalo ab ek minute bhi waste na karte hue..aage badhte hain'yahooo

(Attcaks archana and drags her to the bed)

Archana- 'oh Manav chhodo na'hmmm..thoda dheere'.ouch'

Manav-bheege honth tere pyasa dil mera'pee loon tere gile gile honthon ke shabanam..nakhre mat karo'

Archana- ahhh'bachao..umer ka to lihaaz karo'ouch'chhodo na

(Phone rings)

Archana-(picks) aai kyun baar baar phone kar rahi hai tu..

(It's savita)

Savita- aye ...karamjali..kulta'badchalan aurat'mujhe tu keh rahi hai..tujhe teri aukaat dikahun kya?

Archana- aai main wo..wo main

Savita-mere bhole bhale bte ko fuslake hotel ka room book karke maze loot rahi hai..room ka paisa kaun tera baap dega..

Archana- (starts crying) aai main wo 'wo main..(back ground music plays'.aaa..owaaa)

Manav- lagta hai sulo aai tumhe tang kar rahi hai..aaj budhiya ki khabar leta hun main (takes the phone)hello..aap ko neend nahi aati kya'aaj thoda hum maze ke mood mein ho to aap ko khujli kyun ho rahi hai

Savita- apni aai se aisi baat kar raha hai beta..tu mujhe aisa bhi bol sakta hai us aurat keliye?

Manav- aai tu'

(savita disconnects the phone and goes to the typical savita type comma with back ground music playing aaa'aaa)

Manav- sara mood kharab kar diya ..archana ab rona band karo

(Hugs her)

(Song plays..tere dukh ab mere mere sukh ab tere

tere do yeh naina..chand aur suraj mere..

oh mere jeevan saathi..tere mere sapne ab ek rang hain..jahan bhi le jayen raahein hum sang hain.Song keeps on playing for hours and both fall into sleep with Archu in manav's arms)

Archana- (wakes up and looks at the wall clock) haaila'subah ke 6 baj gaye..ab hamen jana padega

Manav- 6 baj gaye ???? nahiii (fut fut ke rota hai)

SD , I went back and read your previous Milan ki raat version ..
lmao .. what an improvement in ArMan from those "ji , ji woh , ji , ji woh" days 😆

As soon as i read 69 in the first para, i instantly knew some bhari-bharkam bomb is going to come !! 😆 But then i thought may be SD is 'not so ganda' but i was simply bowled over 🤣.🤣.🤣.🤣.🤣.🤣. I wonder how does sulo have so much modern knowledge...she must have also enjoyed in her jawani..!!

Great post SD. You made me laugh out so loud...also the songs were all very apt...

Bechara manav is now crying out very loud and remembering the song they sang in a municipality park back in mumbai...

ha ha nothing has changed , poor ArMan @ 50 still caught betn the devil (Savita) and the deep blue sea (Sulochana) 🤣 the songs were superb 👍🏼
