Shyam has more scenes than any other character

I was watching the old episodes and realized that Shyam has a scene after every scene. It was either Shyam planning by himself, Shyam at his law office, Shyam with Babuji, Shyam with Buaji, Shyam at RM, Shyam at Khushi's house. He has a scene for every venue when Arnav and Khushi just has one or two scenes per show. I hate to notice, but I feel Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon is referring to the creatives' pyar for Shyam, not Arnav's pyar for Khushi. This character has been beaten to death. I am not some fickle fan who is against the villain. Please find some other villian, even more evil, that's not the problem. But GET RID OF SHYAM. I am sick to death of this character, not for his evilness but because of his overexposure.

Now even the previews only have Shyam. Why don't we just make Shyam the hero and get rid of Arnav? I am sure that's what the makers want given their love of the character. They don't want viewers, they want Shyam puja. I was defending the CVs the other day about the way they handled KKG's character but if there is only one or two KKG scene, I don't want to watch. Forgive me but I am not here to watch Shyam's character progress, I am here to watch a love story between two characters who are being overshadowed by the overexposure of Shyam.

Sorry for rant, but I am sick of Shyam. Also, to clarify, this is not against Abhaas, I think he's rather adorable and sweet. And he does justice to the character, but being a writer myself, let me assure you, no antagonist takes over 60% of the story.


The other one is Buaji. She needed to feel more sorry for forcing the Shyam engagement down KKG's throat when everyone in the household was either against or unsure of it. Buaji only admitted that it was her fault but at least someone in the family should have been upset at her for rushing the engagement.

don't you think that every story has an antagonist? and if he doesn't create some complecated story then why we will watch the show every day?

ASR is doing his role and so is doing Shyam. But he is also an actor so we shouldn't embarrse him saying this. Though he's playing a negetive charecter role but his role is not less important. I think you can understand. And yes I also have feelings that ASR should have more screen space but without building the love story between ArHi how can CVs give him more scenes?

However I think that CVs are going to end Shyam's track soon so giving him more screen space. Its only my POV and crtisism is welcome.

The comment was not against the actor. Neither was I saying that ASR or rather Barun needs more scenes. As a character Shyam has been more present that the main characters, that is the criticism I was making.

I strongly object. ASR's poolside gets more screen presence.

Plz dont kill me. I am dead serious! That dirty pool & its accessories act/emote better than some of the museum pieces like PAYASH, GRRRIMA et al.

Lol yes, the poolside and now Shyam is even taking that over because KKG and Arnav never bother to use it anymore.
