The 100 Cr Grossers: 100% Growth May Continue In 2012

There were two films that crossed the 100 crore nett mark in 2010, Dabangg and Golmaal 3 and last year showed 100% growth with Bodyguard, Ready, Ra.One and Don 2 all crossing or likely to cross 100 crore nett.

This year that doubling up trend is looking to be upheld with 8 potential 100 crore nett grossers.

The most likely 100 crore nett grossing candidates in 2012 are in release date order:

There is always the case that one or two might not be up to the mark content wise but then there are other films who also have the potential if they manage to release next year like Race 2 and Once Upon A Time In Mumbai 2.

They are remaking golmaal and its called bol bachchan and Rohit shetty is directing it and abhishek bachchan is casted as ram prasand in the movie. 🤢 OH the horror. They are going to ruin my fave classic. No one can remake a Hrishikesh mukherjee movie, i mean no one. Rohit shetty totally sucks, his masala comedies are so overrated, he can forget about even coming close to Hrishikesh's brand of comedies.

5 minutes of old Golmaal is funnier than ALL of Rohit Shetty's films put together. I wouldn't even watch that movie if I got paid.

Even in his version we'll have cars flying everywhere. 🤢🤢

Bol Bachchan and Housefull 2 are 2 movies I never expected on this overrated 100 crore club list.

Golmaal cannot be touched and rohit shetty directing its remake is a joke. Maybe Priyadarshan in his hera pheri days, but even priyadarshan is making crappy movies these days, but rohit shetty is out of question.

@ Maddy: Yes, Abhishek bachchan and Ajay cannot match the magic of Amol palekar and Utpal dutt.

Word. Golmaal is a classic that no one can even come close to remaking...least of all Rohit Shetty..who doesn't even know what comedy is IMHO. Pata nahin...isn't he happy with already ruining the name Golmaal with his shitty franchise ki ab purani waali bhi kharab karni hai? 🤢 And Ajay and Abhishek in place of Amol Palekar and Utpal Dutt? 🤢🤢🤢

Nahh I don't even think Priyadarshan could have but him in his HP days is anyday a better choice than Rohit Shetty. David Dhavan is remaking Chashmee Badoor..even that was a really good movie and he's going to ruin it as well.
