Aamir to the rescue

Aamir has finally decided on his next home production after the phenomenal Lagaan. Titled Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, Aamir Khan Productions' second film will also serve as a launch pad for Aamir Khan's nephew Imraan and mark the directorial debut of dialogue writer Abbas Tyrewala who has written films like Munnabhai MBBS, Maqbool and Main Hoon Na. The film was to be produced by Jhamu Sughand earlier. However, financial compulsions forced him to pass the project and Aamir stepped in. It seems, Imraan narrated the script to Aamir and Aamir flipped for it. He assured Imraan that if there is any problem in making the film, he would help in whatever way possible. So when Jhamu Sughand was forced to back out, Abbas Tyrewala approached Aamir and he agreed to take the project under his banner. The film which hits the floors in October is a romantic comedy featuring new faces supported by veterans like Naseeruddin Shah, Ratna Pathak and Arshad Warsi in cameos.
