never expected it to turn out this way, it just happened! I wanted to take it slower before they got married, this is the first time in awhile where I had all this intense moments before the lead couple got married along with the comedy of course. Part Twenty-two

Udayveer took a piece of cake and fed her first. She fed him next but turned her eyes downcast when she felt him trying to bite her finger. He took her fingers and kissed them. She got away from him and took more cake and started nibbling. He laughed at her.

"Why are you laughing at me?," she inquired.

"You are looking like a little kid," he quipped.

She rolled her eyes.

"How so? I am just enjoying my birthday cake. You forgot that you arranged this for me already?," she inquired.

He came closer to her. He took the plate from her hands and held onto her arms. She was immediately reminded of their first two meeting and stared at him wide eyed.

"Yeh kya karo ho tum?," she inquired.

" Well you are not a child but my wife now," he stated.

"Toh kya?," she said softly.

"Toh I can finish what I started that day if you hadn't scratched me and walked away," he hissed.

He looked at the chocolate on the corner of her mouth and leaned in to kiss her there. She stood there stunned with sensations going through her body that she had never felt before.

As he pulled back he unclipped her hair. He turned her around and started to remove the chunni from her head.

"Yeh aap kya kare hain?," she asked.

"I am making my maharani more comfortable. You have been wearing all this heavy jewelry and clothes all day. It is just you and me, you don't need to wear this on your head now," he said as he continued.

She blushed slightly.

The veil joined her hair clips and pins in a pile on the bedside table. She blushed looking at the sheets she had picked out, now adorned the bed, it was their bed now.

She got apprehensive and decided to try to remove her earrings herself. Udayveer pulled her close to him. He took off the first earring and kissed her earlobe and then he removed the second and did the same.

Goosebumps stared to fill up her body. She didn't know why she felt scared yet excited at the same time. He was truly showing his full passionate side to her today. After he removed her necklace, he turned her soshe was facing him. She looked at him solemnly.

He took her near the mirror, and he traced her scar she watched as he traced it. Then he kissed her there. She held onto him as he did so.

He stepped back and looked into her eyes.

"I will not rush you Manyata. Today is your birthday, tell me is there anything you want?," he inquired.

She looked at him beaming. He was so considerate, she never expected him to be this way.

"Since you brought me to the Taj Mahal, everyone has been telling me we had our roka done when we were kids. Mujhe yeh saab yaad nahin hai. Do you have any pictures of our childhood?," she asked.

He nodded. She caressed his face and grabbed a stool so she could kiss his forehead. He lifted her off the stool and placed her on the bed. She yelped a the way he placed her down..

"Shh princesses don't yell like that," he hissed.

She yanked his collar.

" Rajkumarji you could have been more gentle," she retorted.

He pinned her to the headboard for a moment before he withdrew quickly. She looked at him puzzled.

He merely smirked at her went to get some albums from cabinet. She sat up eager to see them. He flipped to the first page. It had her with a bandage on her back and him trying to console her.

" I hit you by accident the day of the roka. We were playing with our swords. I cried with you and brought you medicine. I felt awful to hurt another human being. That was before I knew how much worse the world could be," he admitted.

She caressed his face and leaned on his shoulder. He wrapped an arm around her. They laughed at all the pictures. He told her how he had looked at several crowns before he liked the one in the picture. He told her how he would dress as spiderman or superman and try to look for her when she first went missing.

"It must have been hard for you to understand everything. I didn't even recall who my real family was,"Manyata muttered.

" Ab hum aap ko kabhi bhool nahin denge," Udayveer promised as he gripped her shoulder.

When it was past 2am, they decided to go to bed. Manyata went over to her new dresser to grab her nightgown. The servants had put everything away when they were playing the games in the hall earlier.

She grabbed a nightgown but stopped short realizing she would need help with her doris. She decided to try herself. Udayveer emerged from the washroom and gave her a smile. She walked past him and started to freshen up. She was playing with the doris for awhile and got frustrated.

She peeked out of the bathroom.

"Udayveer," she called out.

He was pretending to sleep, he opened an eye and said,"Kya hua Manyata?,"

"I am having trouble with my doris. Thori madad karo ge?," she asked.

He nodded and smiled brightly at her.

He stepped to stand behind her. He noticed a scratch from when she was struggling with them.

"Manyata you hurt yourself here. Next time humari madad pehle se lena," he said.

"You just like touching me don't you?," she quipped.

He finished opening the last of the doris and turned her around so that she hit his chest.

"Hum baas aapko pyar karne seeker ra the," he hissed as he ran his hands from her shoulders down her back. She got flustered and pushed him out of the bathroom.

He chuckled at her actions. She was breathing heavily. She calmed down decided to get changed.

She opened the door slowly and crept into the bed and pulled the comforter over her body. She felt him tugging on it from his side. She sighed and pulled on it. He pulled on it. She groaned.

"Udayveer choro kambal ko!," she yelled.

"Kya karogi tum?," he hissed.

"I knew you were up now see what I do!," she said.

"Haan nahin toh!," he chirped.

She grabbed it full force but he was quicker and she bumped into him in the process. They shared an eye lock. But she stiffened with his gaze and turned away. He pulled her closer and moved the blanket to cover her up. He snuggled close to her. She pushed him away a few times, he decided to give her some space and moved a bit away.
