2011 has been an eventful event in Aishwarya's life. Lots of highs (daughter, awards, honours, titles, statues, deals, offers) and a few downs (Heroine controversy) and eventually ended the year on a great note. Since we are at the end of 2011, a look back at the past one year.

Attends the Reddy's wedding with family.
Attends the Prix De Diane by Longines at Chantilly, France
Starts shooting for Heroine and the film comes to a halt after the announcement after her pregnancy. Disagreement between the actress and director, who claims a pregnant actress cannot do the film as she won't look glamorous enough. Also, director wants 6 months to shoot the film now. It comes to an end after Aishwarya sends back the signing amount to UTV and a legal notice to the director not to use her name or the material that she shot for the film for the film's publicity.
Aishwarya's first appearance after pregnancy announcement. Spotted watching X-men III at PVR with Abhishek, Sonali Bendre and her husband.
Aishwarya honoured with the prestigious Officer Dan Ordre Des Arts Et Des Lettres by the French Government, the second highest civilian award in France. She is the first Asian actress and the youngest Indian to win it. As soon as the family arrived in Delhi for the ceremony, the news of the Mumbai bomb blasts came in and Aishwarya thought it was not the right time to celebrate and requested the French government to cancel the ceremony for now and they obliged. This act of hers won praises from the people and the media alike.

A couple of weeks later, Ash was spotted at a private dinner arranged by close family friend Sanjay Dutt
Aishwarya flied to Bangkok to fullfill her professional committment of shooting a Lux ad in August. By this time Heroine's shooting would have been complete had the director stuck to the initial schedule.AbhiAsh were spotted shopping for the baby's clothes and toys in London

Aishwarya successfully gives birth to a baby girl. Gets accolades from the medical world for not being 'too old' or 'too posh to push' and giving birth in a natural way. Here she is pictured leaving the hospital with Beti B.

Arrives home, the Bachchans distribute sweets to the paparazzi and thank them for observing restraint and giving them privacy.
Named among Men's Health magazines Hottest Women of All-time and named the Hottest mother in India within a week of becoming a mother. Also wins Filmfare most beautiful poll once again. Signs an deal with an international jewellery brand and will go official with it in January. According to rumours, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is keen to cast her for Bajirao Mastani which will begin shooting later next year.

Why does this feel like a stalker book or something? 😆 😆

Anyways...her eyebrows look extremely weird at the Oscars! 😆 She looks gorgeous but her eyebrows...yikes. Lol I never noticed em that bad before.
