Hey Guys, Im so sorry if this part was abit rubbish I was trying to do all the characters justice:) Anyway, i made it extra long since i felt like i owe you!
They all took one look at this and gasped unable to understand what was going on, La on the other hand had already walked out the door- no body saw her go. She had crept out leaving only a small note behind to explain herself. Everyone was awestruck that Arnav had just been there for Khushi & also very afraid of the truth yet to come.
"Khushiji'." Anjali said teary eyed. Khushi slowly pulled away from Arnav but he clung onto her hand secretly and stroked her hand in reassurance.
Shyam Suddenly found one last wind of strength and shot up pushed Anjali out of the way and grabbed Khushi pushing a knife to her neck-
"AHHH!!"
Arnav felt Khushi slip from his grasp, heard her scream and was ready to punch that filthy little---- SNAKE in the face.
Anjali was shocked, Mamiji &Naniji almost had a heart attack.
The snake moved his slimy head closer to Khushi's ear and whispered- either you come with me or your dead. Arnav's ears shot up like a dart and went from behind, pushed the knife to the floor along with the snake himself. "WHAT DID YOU SAY?!!!!!!!"
"N'N'N'otthinngg'"
"Khushi knelt to the floor slapped him 3 times across his sorry face and clenched her hands into a fist. "I SAID ENOUGH DIDN'T I?!!" She screamed into his ear.
Arnav put his arms around Khushi's shoulders pulled her into her chest just as the tears ran down her face, he went to his Di and pulled her in too. The two most important people in his life were with him, that's all he needed. And this Snake. He WILL suffer more.
Anjali cried and cried unable to understand everything, she couldn't even believe what she had just seen. Khushi pulled away and held the knife against the snake's neck. "YOU EVIL, FOUL SNAKE. YOU HAVE NO DIGNITY AND DIDN'T DESERVE ANJALI IN THE FIRST PLACE." She screamed.
"Areyy Khushiji'"- He said putting her hands around her face despite the knife against his neck. "HAAT MADD LAGOW OR ELSE'YOUR LUCKY, SO LUCKY."
"Ohh Khushiji, I like seeing you firey."
" THAT'S IT!!!!!" She dropped the knife and grabbed him by his shirt and pushed him against a wall. Just then Payal & Akash walked in hand in hand, unable to understand the situation.
"KHUSHI!!!!" Payal screamed.
"JiJi CALL THE POLICE NOW!!"
"BUT-"
"NOW!!"
Shyam tried to move but Khushi dug her elbow into his stomach. "NICE TRY."
Within Minutes the police arrived and handcuffed Shyam, when he was just about to pulled right out of the house, Anjali screamed "Ruuko!" She ran upto the snake and slashed one slap across his pathetic face. "I hate you. GET OUT OF THIS HOUSE AND GO WHERE YOU BELONG. TO JAIL. FOREVER.". & with that the police pulled him out of the Raizada mansion forever.
Khushi who was now covered in blood, some of which was her own dripping from her neck where Shyam had managed to cut her a little. She turned to Anjali and looked at her teary face, she wiped her tears away and whispered " Sorry, Im so so sorry." Anjali shook her head to say "Why should you be" and hugged her tight.
Nani&Mami looked at Khushi stunned, for the first time Mami was worried about Khushi and Naniji had sat down with her eyes closed unable to even take in any more.
Khushi and Anjali pulled away, Anjali sat down with Nani finding some strength. "Naniji its okay, Such. I knew something was wrong I just feel bad for Khushiji, of course it hurts me but I should have known. It doesn't matter Im okay." She said despite being teary eyed.
Payal and Akash were shocked, they looked at each other but didn't even know what to ask, although Payal had an idea she said nothing, they went and sat with Anjali. "Di, ye sab'" Akash questioned.
Payal put her hand on Anjali's "Im so sorry, I told Khushi to tell you but- I mean if I had known that all this-" She said shakily. Akash looked at her shocked but Anjali shook her head and wiped Payal's tears "Its okay, I understand. Its okay." Payal held onto Akash with one hand and onto Anjali with the other who was still trying to console Naniji. Nani was so worried, scared and horrified. She didn't know what to say, she didn't look up at all. Mami said unusually nothing all she did was look at her feet on the ground, thinking, questioning.
Khushi went up to Arnav and hugged him tight, he accepted the hug and they embraced it. She cried harder than ever into his chest. Khushi suddenly started to loose balance, Arnav unwrapped his arms
"Khushi..Khushi are you'- She started to stumble further without giving it a second thought he picked her up, took her to the kitchen and pulled out a box of Jalebis, he sat her down on the worktop and fed her. They way his hands slowly held her chin and helped her chew made her wish she was always weak. He remembered the time it had been the other way around, the way she had cared so much, all he could do was smile.
Khushi suddenly had a little bit more strength, she had lost all her energy for that snake. "Aap teek ho?" Arnav asked her lifting her off the work surface and holding her in his arms even though she was fine, he didn't need an excuse. She shook her head as tears streamed down her face. He didn't utter a word all he did was wipe her tears once more. Khushi felt awful & confused as well as grateful she had Arnav, she nuzzled closer into his chest, she loved the way it felt, the way the world disappeared the way his calone smelt with her perfume mixed.
"Don't waste any more tears on him."
"Im Not, Not for him.."
