this line in the code:

var tVoteCnt = data.totalVote;

signifies tVoteCnt is a variable...which is getting is value from a class that's defined in some OTHER part of the program..and NOT in the code that you're showing!!

There is NO reason to believe that the mathematical function which is NOT showing here because it is defined in SOME OTHER part of program...is not working properly...because mathematically it is giving the correct results!!
