Hello everyone, i am Samridhi, or you can call me Samy.
So, i just caught up with all the episodes yesterday, and wow, i am intrigued by the storyline of this show and most importantly, Viraj. So, i just wanted to share my 2cents with you all. Firstly, i think this show has great potential; it has a great story, the cast is great, the locations are awesome & most importantly, it is DIFFERENT, REFRESHING & BOLD. The title of this show, if you think about, is quite apt to some extent. (many were complaining about it). The title is a blessing that elders give to married couples, so i guess, maybe it reflects how society would view her as lucky, because Viraj constantly wants to be around her, wants to love her & care for her, BUT this love becomes a curse for her. Its pretty much what the promos of the show reflect. I am not sure, if i am right, but do feel free to explain your take regarding the title.
Viraj
The screenplay in the show looks REAL & Viraj, my god, gives me the chills. I was really frightened. As much as we all know how nice Karanvir is, if I were to see him in the street one day, no longer am i going to see him as Prem (of KZK) but Viraj, the psycho. Just in 6 episodes, I am SCARED & AMAZED by this character & by Karanvir's acting.
Viraj, i believe, definitely loves Jhanvi. There is no question about that. His love, i feel has reached, its peak where it is now an obsession. This has caused him to become so possessive of her, that he locks her up & is JEALOUS seeing her play with a dog; an animal, who is in every way inferior to him. (No offence to animal lovers or animal right activists) That is a severe mental condition. What is the thinking point here is that Viraj definitely knows what he is doing, but does he actually UNDERSTAND his actions? Does he actually UNDERSTAND & even REALIZE that Jhanvi is a human being, like him, before she is his wife? He treats her like his property, who he can do anything with, resulting in him not giving her any breathing space.
I can't wait for his past to be revealed. I think his loneliness has caused him to become like that, which is why, he has that constant fear that Jhanvi, too, will leave him. That's why he CONSTANTLY wants her to be scared.
Jhanvi
Just like most of us, my heart went out to Jhanvi. There are many girls, i believe, who are actually going through such a situation in different parts of the world. BUT, is what Jhanvi doing right? As soon as Viraj says few sweet words to her, she goes into her dreamland, blaming herself that she hasn't been able to understand her husband. I MEAN, WHY SHOULD SHE DO THAT? I am not asking her to hate him, or anything like that? But i don't understand why she is not trying to understand Viraj. Why is she hiding it all in herself? I know, she doesn't want to hurt her parents etc. but by being silent, she is just encouraging Viraj's actions. She tries to keep everything in place,so that he won't get angry, BUT why doesn't she try to find out about his family or anything about him? Why doesn't she try to find out the reason behind his actions? I mean, he's like the sweetest guy at times, but when he is angry, he is like the most cruel guy. Besides his anger, WHAT DOES SHE KNOW ABOUT HIM? Or maybe, we will see that happening in the later episodes, afterall its only been 6 episodes. All in all, i do feel sorry for her. She is a human being & would have some desires, but unfortunately, Viraj just wants to cage her up from the whole world, so that only he can set his eyes on her & nobody else. Hopefully, we'll be able to see Jhanvi go beyond crying in the upcoming episodes.
Really sorry for ranting on, wanted to write a lot more things, but i guess i will do that in the reply if anyone comments on the post.
