She got up pushing the chair backward.. main teehk hoon Dev. I will just use the wash room. She rushed away from the sight of her heart bleeding with the color of his bandage turning red.
Geet wondered why he always does something like this & why she cares abt him. She cribbed & went to wash her dress. Daadi came to her...
Daadi ' beta yeh tho pura gila hogaya

Geet laughed with Daadi..remebering.. she usually wears Maans pyjamas at night.
She took a deep breath composing herself .. its ok.. Daadi yeh thodi der main sook jayega

Daadi took her to the store room & looked for some very very very old cloths..but packed in very carefully like some treasure.

they took the whole set of cloths & went to Daadi's room.
Daadi gave her saree .. Geet immediately looked at her in shock

wear this.. pulled out a salwar suit. Cudidar types.. light shade. She cleared her throat. She doesn't even remember last when she wore them. She is so used to wear her western outfits.. but challo this is better than saree she thought.
Daadi opened her whole jewelery box.. suggesting her wear all lot of sets. She only picked a pair of simple diamond earnings.
After the lunch Maan sat in his room wondering wat is going on. Geet & Dev.. nahi nahi.. aisen nahi hosakta. To add to his misery he had that song playing on the channel he tuned the TV on to.. merin brother ki dhulhan.
Geet bha...bhi.. he almost felt like a thorn stuck in his throat. he looked at puchki.. yeh kya kar rahi misti.
Evening Party
At the party Maan skimmed around.. looking handsome wearing a black button shirt & black dress pants.
yeh kaisen birthday party hain he cribbed sipping his juice. Naam ke liyen mera bday party hain..
hain tho saren dad ke frds .. business clients yah tho bro ke frds. Main pata nahi yanha kya kar raha hoon.
Yash came & patted his back.. so son how do u like the surprise party
he smiled halfheartedly thanks dad.
Yash made another of his business acquisition announcement, some new project.. tributing to Maans 21st Bday.
Maan was least interested.
Just then he got a call from raj.. he excused himself to the side away from the crowd near the bar counter.

Maan ' where the hell r u?
Raj ' arren yaar main kaisen aata, u know how it is here na.
Maan ' common yaar its ur BF birthday
raj ' Daadi ne phone bhi kiya tha
man rolled his eyes
raj ' so party kaisen hain
he made all kind of faces bo.. & his mouth fell open ' seeing her walking down the steps.. setting her curly hair behind.. trying to make sure the duppata staye on her shoulder.
raj laughed.. looks like party is firing up
Maan just cut the call bye. His eyes just got lost admiring her.
He couldn't be looking at anything else ..his deep dark eyes were glued on her. He looked at her in awe, anybody who caught a glance of him now would have envied her.
She could brighten anyone's day with that beautiful bubbly smile ..he overheard yash saying that to Daadi. Maan's lips widen in smile as he buried his hands inside his pockets. She looked so nervous.. with those cloths... he couldn't help but let a small giggle escape his lips.
Her worried skimming eyes looked at ease the moment she saw him smiling at her. Does he hate me?
Her heart beat raised .. she looked down pushing her hair behind. .. a moment both felt their soul reaching to the other...
She shook out of her thoughts.. when Dev had a wide warm smile as he lend his arm to her & walked her towards the crowd. Instantly there were eyes in the party admiring her. It was so so obvious for two Khuranas to be over protective. ..father & son.
Dev went on introducing Geet proudly. While one of the odd looking client who already seemed drunk came to get introduced to Geet.

Dev.. smiled weekly & shook the hand instead. .. hello Mr Ahuja.. from Infosys right.
He smiled sheepishly still lustfully glaring at Geet. Maan instantly gulped the a drink down.. oops didn't realize it was glass of whiskey from the bar & walked towards them to take Geet away from there well he was quiet late before that Yash was there.

Maan smirked.. knowing his dad & settled back in the bar watching Dev & Geet meeting up with devs frds actually burning within. Devs childhood frds were there.. probably meeting up after ages types.. instantly jelling with Geet, how difficult is that for her.. puren college ko apna frd bana liya the phelen hi din.. he shook his head looking at the drink & stirring the cubes.
Daadi saw her ladla potah sulking in the corner.

he looked at her angrily.. wat was so funny abt that..
Daadi grined don't worry wo bhi jaldi hp jayega..
oh .. no.. his heat just sunk.
How can bro be with Geet..
he doesn't even know anything abt her. He gulped another drink glaring down at her. His eyes felt the warmth.. a strange belonging, fondness.. how she changes his world world with a blink of an eye .. he looked down.. & looked back again.. something he just can't deny. She just brings the worst & the best out in his emotions. He then looked at Dev.. he looked so happy, his frds teasing him, he blushing, while Geet stood their like perfect .. blaah.. he didn't even want to complete that.
