The zone wise voting trends from India this week have Sharib/Banjyotsna leading in three regions out of five. They also had Saat Phere lead actor Sharad
Kelkar cheer them through out the shoot.
Last week, though both the jodis had received equal support from viewers all over India, Sharib/Banjyotsna performance was lacking in many respects.
On last Friday's episode, they were grilled very harshly by the Groovy Gurus and the guest judges Alka Yagnik and Abhijeet with every song that they performed. They found fault in their voice modulation, not matching notes and also pointed out that they failed to understand the essence of the song.
But, this criticism only made Sharib/Banjyotsna work harder on their weaknesses and win approval from the Groovy Gurus. Their improved performances this week got them better rankings than Ujjaini/Aishwarya.
Ujjaini became emotional in the second round after the Groovy Gurus did not give
them high rankings. And, this affected her performance in the last round. That is when Leslie Lewis reminded them of how Sharib/Banjyotsna had bounced back despite getting very strong and angry reactions from the judges last week.
Lewis said to Ujjaini, "You have let your emotions overpower your focus in singing well. You have not come up to the standard of your previous performances."
Hariharan also commented on this saying, "You do not lose when you are down, but, when you do not get up, that is when you lose." Both Ujaaini/Aishwarya promised not to fail the judges.
But Ujjaini/Aishwarya got surprising support from Kelkar who very sportingly asked them not to lose heart as even their so called average performances had the strength to make anyone take notice of them.
