The funniest stuff on Indian TV!
Comedy shows have been in vogue of late. Be it the year-old Great Indian Laughter Challenge or week-old Johny Ala Re, these shows offer respite from the saas-bahu dramas. While each channel claims its show is the most popular, rediff.com decided to go by TRP ratings provided by TAM Media Research. Here's a look at the top five Hindi comedy shows on TV: The Great Indian Laughter Challenge Channel: Star OneTime: Fridays, 10 pm The first reality show on comedy, the first instalment of TGIL became so popular that it had a second season. While TGIL 2 is not as successful as its predecessor, it has added a lot of glamour by introducing celebrity guests. TGIL also did its bit for Indo-Pak friendship by having a number of Pakistani participants. Despite coming from different backgrounds, the judges -?
