He assured her that no thing will go wrong, as it was very late he asked her to sleep

M: try to sleep, bachcha

G: I am not feeling sleepy

M: I'll help you

And he asked her to lay down and covered her with the spread and caressed her forehead until she slowly drifted to sleep.

He called Lata and asked her to bring Angle and he gently placed the little one near her bosom and both her girls smiled in their sleep.

As he was heading to the outhouse he went to DM's room as usual to check her and found her still awake and Arjun was also sitting there

M: you too haven't slept yet

DM: waiting for you

M: me

A: how is she now?

M: sleeping

A: she is disturbed

M: yes

A: why? I mean, she should be happy that now she is free

M: I too thought so, but she is horrifying what will happen when her Darjee will know about it

DM: Arjun, you know her father

A: yes

M: I think you should tell him

A: what will he think when he knows that NT is my sister

M: he will however know someday

A: ok I will tell him

DM: wait for few hours, its already 3 am it will soon be morning

Though Arjun consented to Maan that he will tell Mohinder about Dev's demise and his relation with NT, but he feared how low his uncle will think of them when he learns that she is a Rathore.

In the morning,

Arjun called Mohinder in presence of Maan, NT, DM and Geet. Geet wanted to hide herself but Maan forced her to sit there and held her wrist and rubbed her palms assuring her that everything will be ok. NT was also panicking not for this but what will happen when her father will know about all this.

MH: hello ji

A: Mohinder Uncle

MH: yes

A: Arjun here, Arjun Rathore

MH: oh, Arjun beta, how are you?

A: I am ok uncle

MH: after long you are calling beta

A: how is everyone at your place?

A: don't let Darjee or Brij ever come to approach Geet again

Maan had enough he was listening to the whole conversation as the phone was on speaker mode

M: you did not do anything for her, at least you can do this much

MH: who's it?

M: Maan Singh Khurana

MH: ji

M: I dint ever want anyone from HSPur to ever disturb Geet's peace of mind

MH: ji

M: and keep that Brij away from Delhi, if he even as much as thinks about Geet, it will be his last thought (in deadly voice)

MH (shivered): ji

M (looked at Geet): Geet, do you want to talk to your father?

G: no, he is no more my father, when I needed him the most he left me in your hands, so he is just Mr. Handa for me who's name is there in all my documents

M: sorry Mr. Handa she refuses to talk to you, and remember I don't believe in threatening I believe in doing

MH: ji (with a scared voice)

Maan hung up the phone and Geet sighed in relief.

After the lunch NT and Arjun left for Pammi's place for the last rituals

A: Maan we will leave for Jaipur from there

M: but

A: it would be easier for Geet if NT does not come here again

M: you are right

G: but Dada you keep in touch

A: um

Later Maan went to her room to find her lost in her thoughts sitting on the sofa; he side hugged her and sat near her. She cuddled near him and rested her head on his chest and slowly drifted to sleep, she was emotionally exhausted.
