well why is it that he chose aishwarya when she was kinda big, and I noticed that she started to gainweight as soon as it was announced that she was working for heroine...bug I agree it is quite an up in the air thing to say, and I guess only time will tell

please are you telling me aish has been pregnant for past 3 years...she has been the heavy side for long time, and its not just now that people's making comments about it...

Vidya is criticized many times for her weight and poor sense of style in the forum. I even remember a topic where Kat picked on her and it generated a huge debate.

About the general positivity regarding Vidya i think it has got to do with the fact that she is consistently giving great performances from many years now and is winning awards and has been doing good at box office too. Even Ishqiya did decently at box office and won awards, Paa did great at box office and won awards and now TDP has done great at box office and is going to win many awards.

I don't even think that Vidya is the underdog anymore. She is the only actress who has the lethal combo of having great box office record and also getting critical acclaim. Bebo and Kat only have box office and PC has some critical acclaim... and Vidya has both. So techincally speaking VB is ruling right now! So people on online forums and elsewhere are going to be positive about Vidya... just the way they were positive about Kareena and PC when they had JWM and Fashion. Yes with some positivity we will have negativity too... but when an actress delivers and people feel that atleast someone is trying to do something creative acting wise in a very male dominated industry.. then people are going to be postive about them.

And what amazes me is some fans who were going against when their Aish was being criticized for her weight are saying kareena arms look fat. Bias much?

If that's for me, I always said Aishu can tone down her arms, you can go back and check the countless posts if you want to. I also said glad her (kareena's) sexy ass is back and she looks nice...the majority was in her praise. As for the bias, hell yeah I'm bias--I'm a bigger Aishu fan than Kareena fan so my opinion will be different. But in this case, I seem to have been fair.

As for Kareena's character--I for one didn't say she looked fat. The only problem I had was when a certain Kareena fan (not you) made fun of Vidya for her weight and name called her--but that was a different thread altogether.
